It’s a convenient location and it’s in a decent area if you don’t like being in “the hood” Muhammad was a pleasant care representative and the optometrist was very professional Only problem I had was the woman who blows the air in your eye, assuming me and this woman who were sitting on complete different sides of the waiting room, faced in opposite directions, but because we are both black!? Why else did she think we were together?! 🤔🤦🏽♀️🤨 Update: 3/16/2025 Changed my star ⭐️ rating from Three to ONE ☝️ I ordered some glasses. $519 for light weight, transitional, crizol, progressive and scratch resistant…. It’s been a week and they are still not back yet. They send them to a lab and it can take up to 7-10 business days. My contacts took nearly nearly two weeks and I think a week waiting for glasses when there are companies that create them in a day is ridiculous!!! To say the least. The contacts I purchased are of poor quality. They shift around in my eye resulting in constant rubbing and irritation. They are supposed to be progressive yet I still find my self wearing reading glasses with them in!!! I can only imagine the quality of these glasses I am going to receive However they have cause me the greatest inconvenience because I purchased them while vacationing in NY and will now have to leave and return home and drive back from CT just to pick them up. The rep on the phone was apologetic but also “matter of factly” insensitive…. I have to find a more reliable eye care center that can deal with emergency situations. Vision is an emergency situation. 7-10 days of impaired vision is detrimental to my self and others around me!!!!

However, Store: 5885 located at 8016 Cooper, Glendale is my FAVORITE! The store is spacious, warm, organized and has a nice layout. Their ENTIRE staff from the moment you step in are welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. Shout out to their associate Mohammed who introduced, directed me towards a display of "new" Changeable Frames, when he must of seen that I was having difficulty deciding on a frame from their popular displays. I'm so happy he did. Because now... Instead of ONE look, I technically have THREE+ options of frames to wear. Example: The foundation frame I chose is called "The Wanda" (I chose the clear frame), [then I chose] have the option to snap on either a black frame OR a tortoise pattern frame sunglass, which are magnetic. AND... I can purchase a host of other colors and/or patterns to match my mood, outfit, etc., in the store or online. Thanks Mohammed! Lastly, a big THANK YOU to their doctor of optometry Dr. Veronika Malinowski! She has the best "bedside" manner! She's very thorough, asks questions, LISTENS to your replies, and takes her time to explaining. Kudos to ALL America's Best Store 5885 Associates for keeping up with the AB brand!

I went yesterday for an exam and new glasses. The eye doctor and Mohammed were quick, insightful on my vision progress and attentive to picking out frames based on my preference. Always a pleasure when I go!

The standard add ons will cost an additional 100 bucks per lens. My salesperson was less than pleasant and had no sales skills. The store manager came by our table and offered a 25% discount coupon. We ended up paying over 1K for a pair for my wife & I. Buyer always be ware and read the fine print no matter how small the lettering is. My best experience there was the lady who did the actual eye exam. She is incredibly professional and worth the 90-minute wait.

Tiara not only removed the anxiety of this entire experience, Tiara took one look at me and knew exactly which styles fit me best. Tiara took extra care into making sure I was 100% satisfied with my decision, might I add very patient too boot. 3 hrs & 4 pair of glasses later. I am ecstatic about my new glass eyes!! (I know that's a long time but it was tough making a choice) Thank you for sticking with me thought it all Tiara you rock 🤘 Update:Ok so while I was there Tiara suggested I take photos of the ones that I liked most…. Needless to say I was able to reconnect with “My Lady-o-Frames” and purchased my fifth pair... All in a days work!!! Tiara you're the best!!! Thank you for making this process seamless ❤️
