Associate Ophthalmologists

I've been going to Dr Wallis for over a year and think he is amazing. I even had my family switch eye to come and see him because he is that good! The office staff, not so much. It's pretty obvious that there has been no customer service training. Most of them are short and seem annoyed when you ask questions. Long waits seem to be a consistent thing. Not sure why it just can't be communicated when you arrive that the Dr is running late. That would be so much better than leaving you sitting there for 45 minutes. Highly recommend Dr Wallis but the staff there needs some serious training.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shepps for almost 20 years. The quality of care and the professionalism of the whole office is impressive. He’s a great knowledgeable Doctor, who shepherded me through two cataract procedures and a detached retina. Nothing but praise!

I've been a patient at Associate Ophthalmologists for over 20 years, initially going there on the strength of a strong recommendation: they had just saved my father’s right eye. Over the years, I had witnessed how the doctors there took care of both my aging parents with dedication and attention, as they had been their own parents. As a visual artist, my eyes are my most important professional tool, so I’ve always been especially concerned about my vision. but the patient and caring approach of the office, from all the technicians to the doctors, has always reassured me. I also appreciate that whenever I've had a pressing issue or emergency, they’ve always made sure I was seen right away. So, when the doctor told me I needed cataract surgery, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Shepps took all the time necessary to answer my questions and address my concerns. At no point did I feel rushed to make a decision, and I felt supported in managing my anxiety about the procedure. When I decided to have the surgery, I felt the same support I had experienced over the years at Associate Ophthalmologists before, during, and after the operation. This made for a very smooth and quick recovery. The day after the surgery, I was back to painting, and most importantly, my vision was as clear as it had been twenty years ago.

This practice has taken excellent care of my eyes over the years. Dr Rudick spotted a tear in my retina a few years ago and saved my eyesight! I’m currently having cataract surgery of both eyes done by Dr. Shepps and couldn’t be happier with the results so far. He really knows his stuff and does excellent work! Both office locations are very well appointed and spotless, staff is helpful and they keep things running smoothly. I highly recommend the Associate Ophthalmologists!!

I highly recommend Drs Rudick and Shepps. Dr Rudick has been my eye doctor for many years and Dr Shepps will be doing my cataract surgery. Both are professional, thorough and caring. Tamika Mercado, the surgical coordinator is excellent. She answered all my questions and provided information and assistance for every step of my surgery.
