I went in to see if they could help me insert lenses on a replacement frame. I purchased my eye glasses at a larger competitor but they were rude so I won’t return. Austin optics were so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped and didn’t even charge me. Excellent service is a priority for me. Thank you.

I have been a loyal customer at Austin Optics for years now! They not only have a great selection of glasses but the staff is very friendly! They make you feel comfortable and assist you with all of your needs. Whenever I need an adjustment on my glasses or have any questions, I can count on them. I wouldn't recommend any other place for your eye exam or glasses - this place is the best, hands down. They meet all of your needs and are happy to assist in any way possible. I am more than satisfied with Austin Optics and will not go elsewhere for my business! The atmosphere is great as well and the staff is more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

I love this place not only they made my mother and father both very happy with their glasses, but the doctor who examine them is very professional and knowledgeable! Most importantly friendly. Iris is amazing person inside out, she loves what she does and fits you with the glasses that matches your face and budget :) and every frame speaks for itself and they have verify of name brand that you cannot find else where. The place is clean and conveniently located in queens forest hills, block away from the train. I love my TOM FORD sunglasses thank you Iris.

Went here to purchase a pair of glasses using my insurance. Found a pair of glasses that I liked and saw the price on the glasses written. She took them and said they were $100.00 more than what was written but,when I asked about another pair said the price was on the glasses. She wiped the price off and handed them back to me smudged where I could still see the original price and lied. She was also extremely condescending when I asked to see a summary of my benefits report which she printed she said “you wouldn’t under stand the terminology” I’ve worn glasses since high school I am very aware of what I like in my lenses so I wanted to see what was covered. What she should have said was “here is a summary of your benefits please let me know if you have any questions as we move forward”. Ended up leaving, I was so turned off by her condescending attitude and lying about the glasses. Definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone. Glasses are glasses didn’t appreciate her trying to haggle me, lost me as a customer.

I came here and wasnt sure what would be the best option, Mark helped me choose the right frames, he took his time showing and explaining the pros and cons. I appreciate good service and dont normally write reviews but in this case i couldnt help myself. I left them with a new pair of cool shades and a large smile... Priceless.
