There will be 2 parts to this review so if you want to hear the full story look for the other review. (1/2) After reading the low reviews, I see I wasn’t the only one who received this kind of service. It’s been almost a year since my last visit, and I held off on reviewing because I lost interest. But reading the owner’s responses to these reviews has me baffled. Wonder what they will say to me because I will go in detail about my experience and hopefully show you guys how scummy this store is, especially the short white guy at the front (Adam, I believe is his name), he's a real salesman. I’ve been living around this area since I was a kid, and my father went to this shop to get his glasses years ago. Since high school, I’ve bought glasses from Zenni, which Adam had a lot to say about. I called before going to ask if I could do an eye exam. The person on the phone was nice and told me their closing time. I went there the same day, and everything was going smoothly. The test itself was fine, but when I asked for my prescription and was ready to pay, Adam’s attitude changed, he became hesitant and very passive aggressive the moment I said I wasn’t planning to buy glasses from them. Me being gullible, I fell for the trap. He looked at my glasses and saw they were from Zenni, which made him ramble about the quality of their glasses. Now, I won’t deny that Adam knows his stuff about glasses, but my wife saw right through him from the start. I, on the other hand, had been wearing broken glasses for a month and was desperate for a replacement. I gave in and purchased not just one pair but an additional pair of sports goggles. Once I did, Adam’s attitude went back to normal. This is where I made my second mistake. He told me about all the discounts he was giving me, but truthfully, he does this to everyone. He told me about the 1-year warranty saying, "No questions asked, you break them, we give you a new one" and for the goggles, "a lifetime warranty." Hearing this, I was excited to try them out. I specifically asked what would happen if I didn’t like the goggles, and he assured me I could return them for store credit. I got them a few days later and tried them out that weekend. A week after the purchase, I went back to return them. I did not like them at all and even called beforehand to tell him this. My plan was to use the credit from the goggles toward contacts since they were brand new, and at first, it seemed like there was no issue with returning them. This is where my experience went downhill. Adam told me he had to contact the company and would let me know what they said. By this point, I was already about $900 out of pocket on two pairs of glasses, and now I needed contacts, which required a whole new prescription. I made an appointment and, when the day came, did the test with the same doctor. When I was ready to pay, I gave Adam the goggles and told him that this should cover the test plus the contacts. He told me he had to contact the company first and to hold on to them. At this point, I noticed that he wasn’t actually doing anything to return the goggles. I had already called weeks prior to remind him, and yet he was saying the same thing. I ended up paying $200+ out of pocket for the test and took the goggles home with me. We did a small contact tutorial that lasted three hours, and he gave me daily contact sample packets to try out in the meantime. A few weeks passed, and I called again. I told him how the contacts felt and asked about the goggles. He again gave me the same excuse, but this time changing it slightly: "I don't know if the company will give me credit for that." So things went from "Yeah, we can return them" to "I don’t think we can, but I’ll find out." I was still holding off on buying contacts because they were $600 for a 3-6 month supply, and at this point, I was already $1,000+ deep. RECOMMENDATION IF GOING: -Don't go. -Eye test elsewhere -Buy online we're entering a new era of online shopping so the quality of glasses are honestly becoming hard to tell apart.

(2/2) 2nd part of the review. Look for the first if you interested in reading. Months passed, and we entered a new year. The regular glasses I got from them broke, so I went back to get a new pair since it was covered under warranty. As always, I called beforehand to let them know and also asked about the goggles. This short smurf looking ahh had the audacity to tell me, "How am I going to return the goggles if you don’t give them to me?" This shocked me. I told him, "You can’t be serious. Every time I try to give them to you, you give me the same excuse about contacting the company for the credit." I didn’t want to argue at the moment since I needed a new pair of glasses. Remember the "No questions asked, you break them, we give you a new one" warranty? Turns out, that was a lie, he forgot to mention a shipping fee. A shipping fee for what you may ask? Adam told me, "We send the frame and lenses to the company, and they give us credit back. You’re paying the shipping fee—$20 for the lenses and $40 for the frame." -_-bruh So let me get this straight. I paid for these glasses, they belong to me, but now that they’re broken, I have to pay for the shipping so that YOUR store can get credit back and I get my new glasses. Bella Vista: Gets money from the glasses, plus the shipping and return credit. The customer: Nothing. it's a win win for them but lose for the customer. I ended up paying the $60 shipping fee. Adam told me they would call in about a week for me to pick up the lenses. I mentioned the goggles, and he told me it was too late to return them. At this point, I was extremely frustrated. The return process went from "Yes, we can return them" to "I don’t know if we can, but I’ll check" to "We will probably not get credit for it." Keep in mind, months had passed since I first told him I wanted to return these goggles, and he never once contacted the company for credit. A week later, I got a call, but this time from the tall Black gentleman (don't remember his name). He told me to bring my glasses in so they could cut the lenses "It should only take 20 minutes." I left work early, arrived 40 minutes later, and he tells me, "You took too long. I called you hours ago, I already have another pair in the machine."Mind you, he called me during working hours on a random weekday, expecting me to magically appear in minutes. The best I can do is come within the hour which I did. I came back a few days later, and Adam was once again passive-aggressive when I asked for both copies of my regular and contact prescriptions. He went to attend someone else and told me to wait. I waited over 30 minutes, He only gave me my regular one, and I had to wait again to get my contacts prescription. While finishing up the tall guy asked if I wanted my old lenses back. THE SAME LENSES ADAM TOLD ME HE NEEDED TO SEND BACK FOR CREDIT. This confirmed that Adam was just lying to make a quick buck, since they had no intention of returning anything. I thankfully never went back and I never once received a call about my goggles return. My bad for the long review but hopefully those reading can be careful when doing business with Bella Vista. They may seem genuine and having your best interest but if you are careless your bank and your trust will be taking a huge hit. If you look at how salesman operate and how genuine these people feel you can see past the smoke screen and see an evil money hungry minion haha okay maybe i'm taking it too far with the short jokes but I have no association with the other reviewers and they are saying similar things. So regardless of the response the owner will leave in the bottom of this review please take the experiences from the others and myself into consideration AND PLEASE for the love of god, DO NOT fall for the "if you send this pamphlet through mail to this 3rd party company they will give you $200 dollars back" these are like early 2000's scams that only older people would fall for and guest what? Most of the customers are older folks so watch your parents and grandparents back. Do not let them fall for this.

They have a great doctor and he works well with kids, not sure if he is still there because they change their doctor regularly. Their prices are expensive and they add 100 things to what your kid needs by the time you ask for the final cost. What I don't appreciate is that I paid over 300 for one pair out of pocket and the pair that was supposed to be covered by the insurance "never went through". They lack professionalism as its been a year and they never called to update me regarding the umpayment from the insurance carrier and they didn't offer me the option to buy the second pair at a discounted price (because I called 3 months after my visit). So imagine having one pair of glasses for a child for a year! Excuse pass for gym for the year thanks to Bella Vista!

This place is Amazing, the service, the staff, and the products they provide are unmatched. They work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied. "Avoid Allerton Eyewear" at all costs. The service is atrocious and they sell crap at ridiculous prices!

I have been coming to Bella Vista since I was a child. Their service and attentiveness to your concerns are always met above measures. Not only are they patient but they give you confidence in the glasses you are picking. They always have the latest products and can order for you as well. They also fixed my sunglasses that I thought were broken quick and generously! This is the perfect place to bring your family and friends. and I will always recommend this location!
