Why she did not tell me so when I waited for her for 1/2 hours

Nov 03, 2023 · B QFirst visit was in 1/25/2020, I saw Sumitra Agarwal. At first she seemed very nice and knowledgeable throughout the appointment. I had scheduled both a contact fitting and eye exam. Towards the end asked me what brand of contacts I wore and proceeded to write them in my prescription. Later went home and tried to purchase contacts through 1800Contacts but it became a hassle because I was told being that there was a brand name written on my Prescription I was only able to purchase exactly those. From my experience I have never been limited to what brand of contacts I could wear as long as they fit the criteria ( I’ve been to Cohens & Lens crafters ) never had an issue. Called the office where I was told my file was “misplaced” only after 2 days of being there. The doctor told me I needed to go back in for another appointment ( $139.00 ) all because THEY lost my paperwork. I decided to stick with the brand I originally provided. Fast forward to the pandemic, my contacts were discontinued now I’m left without nothing. Boscov’s had hours of operations listed in the store for which the optical office would be open, when I arrived she wasn’t even there, so why is it open ? It is a inconvenience for those who are working and have to take the day off to literally try to contact the doctor. Not satisfied at all with the service. I was asked about 20 times to write a “ nice “ review to bring more customers in but I will not have someone else go through the same headache I have gone through. Btw my prescription is missing a lot of information where I can’t even order glasses online and have them prescribed. Literally wrote nothing but two numbers and the brand of contacts I wear. So here I go spending more money when the prescription written is supposed to be good for a year. In my case it was only good for 2 months due to lack of professionalism and communication.
