Cohen's Fashion Optical

I went in to to Cohen to primarily have a DMV required vision test done and have the results submitted, to the DMV, but decided to also have a basic eye exam done as well. I was initially a bit apprehensive being that the quality of customer service rendered these days just seems to pale in comparison to what I used to experience so long ago. It's as though the majority of the employees one encounters these days merely go through the motions as though following a well crafted script issued by their company's corporate "enforcer" when it comes to assisting a client. But, this was not the case with the person who assisted me who went by the name of Nicholas. I was immediaitely put at ease shortly upon engaging with him. Nicholas was very down to earth and very informative as he answered any questions I presented to him, all while having our own casual conversations about various topics. I was so enamored of his outgoing personality that I actually purchased a pair of eyeglasses never initially intending to do so! Nicholas worked with me to find an affordable, and very much needed, pair of eyeglasses including features that would have made this purchase financially prohibitive had he not made me an offer that I could not refuse. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience dealing with Cohen Optical, thanks to Nicholas as well as his two female associates. I would recommend Cohen to anybody looking to be assisted by an Optical professional. Like I stated after my exam and upon leaving the office, "You just made my day!" I will be back in a few days to pick up my new glasses. Until then, keep up the good work! 👍

I luv cohen fashion opticals becuz they are helping me see my life everyday & they are huge part of my life!!! I would not be able to live without my vision & cohens helps me see the ugly side of me & I have a lot of grey hair & a lot flaws on my face & body…. I could not live without cohens fashion opticals helping the blind to see my life throughout the years as a patient/customer at the forest hills location for the past 17/18 years & I feel like they have become my friends/family & make me feel special & comfortable as a patient/customer at there store & dr. terrible service, they lost my files after i visited one time with no explanation or reason how this happened. got into a dispute with my insurance and had to speak with the workers here and all of them were extremely unhelpful. there are plenty of other places in the area id recommend literally anywhere else.

The best optical shop in Forest Hill’s, Queens! The Doctors are excellent-very professional and they take there time to explain everything. Staff is fantastic too!

I was there on a Friday and met the most professional and friendliest optometrist. He explained everything and I loved it BUT when I was called that the glasses was ready, that receptionist was just rude and ignorant. Got there another day to pick up and no one took interest in finding out if the fit was OK. I put it on and could see so I figured it was OK. Got hm tried to walk around with my new glasses and realized it wasn't as good - cant see comfortably. I believe my pd was wrongly measured. Such a waste of my money.Am back to my old pair. I will go to see the optometrist(very knowledgeable)but will never buy glasses from them. Limited selection and poor service.
