This optometrist office totally rocks! I've had bad eyesight forever, but every visit is top-notch. The staff is super friendly and patient when I'm choosing glasses. They make sure I understand my insurance plan, which is great. The yearly check-ups are thorough, and they keep a close eye on any changes. Seriously, best experience ever!

I usually don’t bother writing reviews, but I feel this needs to be addressed. After over 10 years without contacts, I decided to give them another try. My own optometrist charges $200 for a fitting and training, so I figured I’d try this location instead. In hindsight, I should have just spent the $200 at my usual place or gone to Cohen’s near my home. Customer service was mediocre—some of the staff seemed a bit stuck-up. The doctor, however, was great at explaining things, and since I already had some knowledge from my own optometrist, I left with a better understanding. That said, I needed to be trained on wearing contacts, which was part of what I paid for. After my exam, I met with Martha, who was initially pleasant. However, instead of giving me options, she told me I’d need to pay over $1,100 for eight boxes of contacts (4 on each eye). On top of that, they made a billing error, mistakenly marking my balance as fully paid. I also didn’t receive my union discount because I was told I had to purchase all eight boxes to qualify—which makes no sense, especially since now I have two different prescriptions. I’ll more likely need to get another opinion. Bottom line: I wasn’t properly fitted, they mishandled my payment, and the discount policy was unreasonable. Felt really disappointed. I won’t be returning to this location.

Don't do business here or at any Cohen's. Huge history of fraud and scams, and it continues! Submitted the wrong claim type to my insurance so that I wouldn't get my insurance benefits, and is currently ghosting my insurance company who is trying to get them to correct it. While in the store, I was shown some frames. I checked the price tag on one, thought it was fine, and selected those frames. I should've taken a picture of the price! Because when they came back with my frames all made up, they cost literally twice what they said on the display version. When I asked to see the display version of the same frames to verify the price, they refused to reproduce them, no matter how many times I insisted. They also tried to slip the lens extras in my order, even though I refused them several times. Thankfully, I caught it one last time, just in time. Frames all cost about a billion times more than their retail price online too. Don't bother with this place; why go somewhere where you have to guard against getting ripped off at every turn?

I recently made a purchase at Cohen Optical and wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, I was unable to afford progressive glasses at this time due to financial constraints. However, Tshura went above and beyond to assist me and found a fantastic pair of bifocal glasses that exceeded my expectations. The transition line is incredibly subtle, making it almost undetectable. I am truly grateful for her help and support throughout the process. Thank you for providing such excellent service! It was genuinely appreciated.

Trustworthy and reliable team, convenient location, and great prices for new lenses! This was my first visit and I am so impressed by the quality of service they provided. I will be back in the future, and I now recommend this place to everyone I know!
