Costco Vision Center

I don’t even want to give one star. My husband bought a pair of glasses recently. He wanted transitional lens but they gave him clear ones. He cannot return eyeglasses or exchange the lens by paying the difference. Why did they mistake this kind of mistake? Now he has to buy another pair.

I recently called for a pair of contacts since my glasses broke and will be leaving the country as it was an emergency situation since I won’t be able to see. I was told they would provide me with a pair when I called since I cannot see at all. When I arrived at the facility, staff continued to state it’s a liability to give someone who was seen by THEIR doctors whose eyes are diagnosed to be visually impaired a pair of contacts without being seen for a fitting since my prescription expired. It is arguable that the opposite is worse. A provider that does not provide. Absolutely horrendous experience. Optometrist is fresh out of college speaking on legality with no basis or findings. Do not go here for your eye appointments, they’ll let you go blind if they don’t make any $$$.

Slowest service ever! Even DMV much faster than Costco Vision Center. Only 1 employee that spend more than 15 min for each customer. Spent 30 minutes in lane after Costco employee refused to serve me because I was in the wrong lane. But when I got there 20 minutes before, there is NO lane and no signs where it should be. 2 customers just left lane because of long wait time. I called a manager and 5 min later another employee served me during LESS than 2 MINUTES!!! I spend almost 50 min in Costco Vision Center lane and was served in LESS THAN 2 MIN!!!!!

Dr.Lamberston was very helpful and informative during my appointment and the staff for weeks afterward were terrific and very accommodating, highly recommend

Costco optical has some of the most thoughtful and caring people working there. They go out of their way to help. There was a supplier delay for my son’s contacts (whose vision is poor and needs them for sports) and they ordered him trials to cover the gap in the shipment delay … as their own initiative!. They’re just wonderful, as is the optometrist who works there.
