Veronica at the Kew Gardens office was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and patient with both my teen son and myself. She helped us both with everything and we were able to the perfect glasses both functional and stylish. The prices were good. Thanks again for everything

The young man who welcomed me and gave me 2 tests before seeing the doctor was very kind, the doctor also treated me very well and explained everything I needed to know to maintain good eye health, I was very pleased with both of them. But as for the people who help with giving me the prescription, she was a pain when I told her that I wasn't ready to buy my glasses yet and that the last glasses I bought at the store had been damaged 3 times and that if I could bring them to be repaired and in a bad way she told me that she didn't know if she could do something for me because it had been 2 years since I bought them. That makes me think about whether or not to return to the store because I didn't like the treatment she gave me. In other words, if you buy you are valuable to the store but if you don't they treat you badly, that makes me think about not buying there.

Since Sept 2023, I've seen 3 different doctors and been given 4 different eyeglasses prescriptions from this location, causing severe headaches because 3 of the prescriptions were incorrectly generated by the doctors. I've had to have glasses remade on multiple occasions. Some of the interactions were quite pleasant. The low rating is due to the following: I was never provided my contact lens prescriptions and when I asked about the fact I paid out-of-pocket for the fitting, I was told "it was too late - outside of the 100 days, as you didn't finalize it" and "your prescription changed anyway." So, I basically paid literally for a doctor's error and received no prescription at all in return. The last doctor, Dr Galing, was the most helpful, and I would recommend him without hesitation because he helped get me the correct eyeglasses prescription. Some of the opticians (like Tabatha) and some of the reception staff are great; however, other staff members were very rude to me (raising voices in a public setting, rolling eyes, etc). I see others had positive experiences, but given my experience I cannot recommend this location. After picking up my pair which needs to be remade yet again (because I've already paid for it), I will not be returning.

It was a pleasure getting my eye exam at Visionworks. It is very easy to schedule appointments online. The staff and doctor are personable and welcoming, and they have a great selection of frames.

I went to Visionworks in Kew Gardens today. Dr. Gailing was wonderful. Very thorough, kind, attentive and professional. I recommend him highly. The customer service lady who helped me with my glasses was Kay. She too was extremely professional and helpful. She explained everything in detail and had a lot of patience with regard to all of my questions. She helped me save a lot of money on my purchases as well. I recommend the Kew Gardens office of Visionworks to anyone needing contacts or glasses.
