Awful medical experience. A doctor with an unusual bedside manner. Once and done for this office.

I great doctor when my vision normalized for near vision my optometrist urged me to see an eye doctor. I was Dr Freilich who check my vision and refracted and dilated me. The staff in the office was great. Dr Freilich said this sometimes happen in middle aged people and found my vision to be normal with no signs of any illness I felt very reassured and was handled in the most professional and caring way. I feel confident in referring friends with me. I is a competent knowledgeable doctor who takes the time to get to know patients and reassure them. I am glad that I saw him and for any one with eye problems especially if they involve the retina he is the doctor for you. I recommend him without reservation

We had just seen my child's PCP and was recommended to visit an eye MD to rule out corneal abrasion. I was determined on finding someone open- was difficult to stomach my child in pain for no apparent reason. I must have called 10 different doctors- Majority of the calls went to answering service and others where staff would answer but would say the MD is no longer in the office. But then, by the grace of God, I called Dr. Freilich's office to see if he was open (6:30pm) and accepting new medicaid patients- the call was automatically forwarded to the Dr on his cell and he offered to go BACK to his office to see my child! WOW!!!!! Who does that these days?! Totally AMAZED with this Dr and how much he cares about his practice to have gone literally out of his way to see us. He took his time dealing with our child and even our medicaid and the referral process. If only more doctors were still this sympathetic with their patients the world would be a better place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Do not be disturbed by Dr Freilch's personality. He is totally focused on care. If you can crack his hardl exterior, you will uncover a man that is commited to the welfare of his patients. So true to his profession, kind and giving. AL and I love him very much!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Freilich since late fall 2016 when a routine eye exam uncovered a rather serious issue with my right retina. I was asked to see Dr. Freilich who was the retina specialist for the group. From the very beginning, Dr. Freilich exhibited great understanding and knowledge of the problem I was dealing with but after repeated tests of every imaginable kind, no clear cause was detected. Not content to treat just the symptoms of my problem, Dr. Freilich scheduled exams with two world renowned specialists in NYC so we would leave no stone unturned. After months of careful treatment by Dr. Freilich, can happily say today that my vision has improved tremendously and it is all because Dr. Freilich's dogged determination to get to the bottom of the problem. If you have retina problems, I could not recommend you seeing Dr. Freilich any more than I do. He is clearly a superior retina Doctor. He treated me like I was family, and a doctor like that is hard to find.
