Jan 17, 2025 · Donald KraftExtremely disappointed with this office and with Dr. Voight. First, I never got a call or notice to let me know that my prescription was expiring for contacts. When I called yesterday to let them know I need to set up my appointment and order trial lenses to hold me down, the secretary told me she would call me back as soon as possible. I had to call back the next day to find out that they are understaffed at the moment and never got a chance to check on my prescription or put in an order. I asked to speak to Dr. Voight today and it just seemed like he didn't care about the fact that I had only a few contacts left to hold me down. They said they couldn't put in my order today because they are understaffed, and it would have to be tomorrow. Dr. Voight said "what does it matter if I put it in today or tomorrow there's no guarantee it'll arrive either way." When I told him he was being rude, he was very flippant about it and just wanted to get off the phone. I said I would look for another doctor and he said "if you want to, that's your prerogative" kind of just leaving me in the dust to figure out how I'm going to see for the next week. I once again repeated that he was being rude, and he asked if I had glasses, and I said no. He said, "with your prescription, I would never be caught without glasses." At this point I was just offended by the lack of concern and his responses. Changing my doctor and reporting him to the board. Thanks!
