This was the best optometrist experience I’ve ever had! The staff and doctor thoroughly answered every one of my questions about the tests and my new prescription. And at the end, I was offered assistance in choosing my new glasses. I didn’t know what to expect but am so grateful for Jeremy! He carefully selected frames for me to try on and gave me honest feedback about each one. It was truly a joyful experience to work with him, Marina, and Edi who all kept me laughing the whole time! I’ve spent the last two weeks talking about this place to anyone who would listen. This is the only optometrist office I will ever go to again.

Feb 27, 2025 · Maya ArmstrongThe office staff is hilariously incompetent and rude, to the point where I canceled my appointment despite hearing good things about the optometrists. The receptionist wouldn't give an estimate or explain why they bill primary insurance for an eye exam, confirmed by everyone I asked to be non-standard. She even failed to get my email down for the intake forms across several attempts and couldn't find the email I sent her. With 10,000 optometrists in NYC and getting an attitude, how much time can I spend? I'd made two calls to insurance, asked my company HR (who confirmed the billing is odd), and called this place twice. No thanks, my money goes elsewhere.
Mar 07, 2025 · BenFriendly staff. They run several imaging/tests before you see the doctor. My main complaint is the charge for a contact lens fitting and the doctor didn't even talk to me about my contact lenses. I guess he just assumed they were fine since my main concern was if my prescription has changed, but it feels like a complete waste of $80. The main push seemed to get me to buy the Neurolens, which is a specialty lens that helps with eye misalignment. When I wasn't interested in that, it seemed they wanted to get me out of the door. The doctor was friendly though. I appreciated how the optician didn't push me to buy/order any glasses or contacts. Overall, an average experience. Not sure I'll go back. Hard to find quality, patient-centered health care providers these days.
Sep 27, 2024 · Taylor SeminI enjoyed my entire experience from start to finish. The doctor was competent and friendly. Jeremy and Marina were also patient, kind and knowledgeable when helping me choose frames. Ordering and picking up my contacts and glasses was seamless. I have seen a number of eye doctors in New York and they are the best by far. Wholeheartedly, recommend.
Jul 11, 2024 · Abigail CastroCould not have asked for a better experience. I did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Zikos took time to explain everything in detail and really listened to my concerns. He was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Shoutout to Jeremy, who put me at ease while teaching me how to use contacts for the first time. He was so patient, and put me at ease immediately with his smile and encouraging words. For LGBTQ community, especially those who are gender non-conforming, you will be comfortable at this office.
