Fabulous Optical

I'll start by saying this. The woman in the front and the doctors are great, especially the woman doing the eye drops. However, the two men behind the counter are downright disrespectful and incapable. They're so busy talking to each other about sports and what they want for lunch that they can't help their customers. I went up to the counter to ask to see a few framed and they both acted like I wasn't there. I had to continue asking them and when they finally did they had a nasty attitude sliding the glasses across the counter. I understand being hungry but you're not starving, he was eating fritos. You don't have to do all of that. Especially in front of customers. The man with the dreadlocks couldn't help me but had no problem helping a young woman who needed assistance. I won't make assumptions but please do better. You make all the staff look bad when it's just these two. It's really frustrating because I've come here a few times and the experience has always been pleasant. I guess if you're not paying out of pocket also plays a part.

Highly recommend. I’ve had my eyes checked here, ordered contacts, got lenses replaced. They’re professional, reasonably priced and do a good job. Every time I’ve been in there, the manager is kind and attentive with everyone – it does not go unnoticed. Just feels good in there.

Kenny took care of me the first time I came in here after moving to NY from Texas, been taking care of me ever since. Great neighborhood spot. Broke my glasses, came in here the last 5 minutes before closing and treated me as if the shop had just opened.

Ive been coming here for years, really friendly down to earth staff. The receptionist was really nice, she squeezed my daughter in for a much needed appointment, and Kenny (black male with dreads from the last time I've seen him) was able to get my daughter to choose some reasonably priced glasses and got us a discount and has always been helpful. I come in a few times a year and have no issues, they're always very professional and helpful. While I was sitting there I saw another customer come in get a nose pad, another man get his glasses adjusted, and Kenny helped said customers and answered phone calls along with the helpful receptionists. My daughter also said her doctor was funny, made her feel comfortable, and had an overall great experience even though this was her first time seeing this doctor. Always recieve excellent customer service .

soo I work next door and decided to go here because of the convenience. I was waiting for close to 30 min or more to be called by the dr. all of a sudden some white dude walks in off the street and within 5 minutes he's in the back of starting his exam.. supposedly they called me when I've been sitting in the lobby the whole time..I'm probably just gonna stick to Cohen optical. i don't plan on recommending any of my client here.. SMH I expected better.
