Dec 07, 2024 · Wendy MaciasNot worth one star. I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Fromer Eye Center on Friday, February 14, 2025. First of all the receptionist told me the center does not participate with my insurance. Why was I not notified of this prior to the visit? Since I have out of network benefits, I decided to stay & see someone, as i had very serious concerns.Several technicians performed a series of tests. More than three & 1/2 hours later, I was told a Doctor would see me. When he came in, he never addressed me or introduced himself. When he began looking over the results, I asked who he was. He said "Dr. Castillo". He continued to speak to Jennifer regarding the tests. He examined my eyes, told me I needed injections and left the room. As you can imagine, I had numerous questions. I assumed he would return to speak to me. He never returned. He never asked me what issues I was having with my eyes or anything. Jennifer was very helpful and patient when I voiced my concerns to her. She is the only person who introduced herself and explained her function. Because of the degrading and disrespectful treatment I received, I will never return to your facility nor would I recommend anyone.
