GVS

I just moved here I was super worried about finding a new eye doctor that I would love. Immediately the staff made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. Dr. was wonderful, kind and helpful. I cannot even express how grateful I am to have found this place. If I could give them 100/5 stars I would!

I was very happy with my experience at GVS at 66 Court Street. Every person who I had an encounter with was extremely helpful, from the gentleman who helped me with my endurance, the gentleman who performed my pre-examination, the doctor, snd Sandy who helped me choose my frames. Thank you all for a lovely experience.

We had a wonderful experience with them. First time buying lenses and they assisted us through every step of the process. I was not sure which ones to get and Gleny gave me detailed explanations and offered valuable advice which I truly appreciate. Thank you

Harrowing experience for senior citizen on 12/19/24 at the 66 Court Street, Bklyn. NY store. I felt intimidated while speaking with a sales rep. who kept pushing frames I did not want. Then Alex, who said she was the manager also began showing me frames I did not like. I ended up agreeing to take a frame I really did not want. A price was quoted and I asked for a breakdown of the charges. It was then that 3 store representatives began in earnest to speak to each other in Spanish which I do not speak. I placed a $500 deposit on the glasses. When I received the receipt, it had 515.00, which I questioned. I was told that it was my bank charging the $15.00 fee. Never have I been charged a fee by my bank for using my card. I left the store uneasy and doubtful about doing business with GVS. I came home and immediately called my bank which said that there is no transaction fee for using my credit card. Called the store immediately to cancel my order and spoke with Alex who then said that it was the store and not my bank that charged the fee. She began over talking me and I hung up not sure if my order was cancelled. I called again on Friday 12/20/24 to confirm my order was cancelled and again spoke to Alex who then said she would not cancel the order to expect a call for pick-up. I repeated several times that I was canceling the order and our conversation ended then. I FELT BULLIED AND LIED TO. SENIOR CITIZENS STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially their manager, Alex! I am so thankful for the quality of service I received here as buying new lenses has never been easier. You guys are great!
