I think the doctor is great. The only thing I don’t like it is the waiting for an hour and 30 minutes. There is a lot people waiting to be seen. Don’t matter if you get there early or on time. You always have to wait. Not sure if the booked people on the same time for an appointment. There was a time that I had to wait for two hours.
If you're searching for an "Eye Doctor Near Me" in Long Island City, the Haller Family Eye Center, located at 30-74 36th St, offers eye care services to the local community. The center can be reached at (718) 728-0224 or +1 718-728-0224.
While customer reviews acknowledge the doctor's expertise, a significant concern raised is the extended wait times for appointments. Patients have reported waiting for an hour and 30 minutes, and in some cases, up to two hours, regardless of arriving early or on time. This suggests potential overbooking or scheduling challenges.
Customers advise that appointments at Haller Family Eye Center should be considered as estimates, and patients should not plan other activities for the same day. The long wait times can lead to delays and potential missed appointments. There is a desire from customers for better communication regarding expected wait times, enabling them to plan their schedules accordingly.
It's important to note that while the doctor's service is appreciated, the significant waiting periods are a consistent issue reported by patients.

Mar 06, 2025 · Noemi TorresBe warned an appointment here is just curtesy. Make sure you do not have anything planned for the day because you will either have to leave early and miss the appointment you’ve waited 3 weeks for or be late to all other appointments. I wish they would be considerate enough to let patients know what to expect to properly plan ahead. Please learn to communicate this with your patients. Not all of us are retired and can just sit in a waiting room all day.
Nov 26, 2024 · Karla GarciaThe doctor seemed angry and bit of a sadist and he has an extremely rude staff who Treat patients extremely disrespectfully. They were staring at their phones and rolling their eyes because they didn’t want to do work. I walked out in the middle of my exam because people were so rude and nasty. The office is also very dirty. I’m surprised didn’t get an eye infection after going there. Stay away there’s plenty of other eye doctors in the neighborhood. This place needs to be shut down.
Dec 28, 2024 · Harold William KramerAbsolutely horrendous wait times. If you can not accommodate an appointment at a specific time, simply don’t give the appointment. Making your patients wait for an hour to 1.5 hours in the waiting room to be seen is absolutely ridiculous, and disrespectful. You need to respect people’s times. We have things to do. They love to over book and then make everyone wait an obscene amount of time. Literally the worst, and extremely unprofessional. Need to find a new opthamologist
