The real standout, though, was Alim. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping me choose my glasses. He guided me through my options with patience and expertise, making the process so much easier. Highly recommend this place for great service and a smooth experience!

Absolutely outstanding service at LensCrafters! I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeans, Alim, and Melany, and I cannot say enough about how patient, kind, and incredibly helpful they all were. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcomed, valued, and completely at ease. After much debate, we decided on a pair of Swarovski frames, and I couldn’t be happier. They took their time helping me find the perfect fit and making sure I felt confident in my choice. Alim suggested I try transitional lenses, and let me tell you—that was the best decision I have ever made! I will never go back!!!! Now, not only do my glasses look beautiful, but I feel like I’m getting the most out of them. 💕💕 Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness made this one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Check the doctor’s credential before paying a visit: I visited LensCrafters location on 81st and 3rd Ave.in upper East side for an eye exam, but my experience left much to be desired. While the store itself appeared professional, I had concerns about the optometrist. After my appointment, I attempted to order my contact lense prescription through their website but they could not verify doctor's credentials on the LensCrafters website, but there was no information available. I had to go back to the store to get a copy of my prescription and attempted to order online again. After 10 days same thing happened This raised a red flag, as I expected a reputable company to list the licensed professionals working with them. Additionally, when I tried calling the location to ask about the optometrist’s credentials and follow up on my prescription, I received no response. Multiple attempts to reach someone went unanswered, making it extremely frustrating to get any clarification or assistance. An optometrist visit should instill confidence, but this experience left me questioning the reliability of their services. I would advise others to do their own research before booking an appointment and ensure they can verify the doctor’s credentials beforehand. Until LensCrafters improves transparency and communication, I cannot fully recommend their optometry services.

I don't know if this is common for this place, but I feel it needs to be shared just in case. I had scheduled an appointment yesterday for 6pm. I arrived at 6:09 and the lady at the desk said that I had to reschedule since the doctor had left for the day when no one showed up at 6pm. I knew I was going to be a few minutes late, so I called and also had my wife call at 5:30 to let them know, but neither of us could get anyone the pick up the phone. Oh well. I'll go back to my usual eye doctor. Good luck!
