I usually love LensCrafters, but the best way to describe this store would be LensCrafters Express. The staff is nice, but has no clue. There's never a technician available for adjustments, no lab in this store and minimal selection in frames. Just go to the 49th St. location and save yourself aggravation.

The very stylish Prada frames that I wanted were not in stock at this location but said they would be able to order them when I returned in a few days. I returned and that wasn’t the case. Instead I was given a list of “possible” locations who “may” have them. My hunt began. One long walk and several worthless phone calls later still no frames. UNTIL! I called store #5116- 1042 2nd Ave and the amazing Eileen answered the phone. Only equipped with the bad information the other store had given me Eileen was able to track down said stylish frames. AND, said she would hold them for me and stay late until I got there! Side note: I was at work in downtown Brooklyn. Anywho…I left work early and just as promised she had the frames! Talk about customer service! She was even able to locate my secondary eye insurance that the other location somehow couldn’t manage to do.
