Manhattan Eye | Dr. Yuna Rapoport, MD MPH

I have been going to Dr. Rapoport for years, and she has been a tremendous help with multiple eye conditions I’ve had over time. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. She was also always very prompt in responding to any eye emergencies. I trust her completely with my eye care and have recommended her to all my friends and family, including my parents and children. Her professionalism and genuine care make every visit a positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Rapoport to anyone in need of excellent eye care!

Dr. Rapoport is consistently thorough, understanding, and extremely competent. Always takes time to answer all my questions, is patient and makes me feel, at ease during any procedures. Her follow up care is top-notch as is her staff. I feel confident that my eyes are in the best hands! Highly recommend!

Whole thing felt scammy with no respect for their patients. I had a terrible experience getting something on the eye checked here. There was no time dedicated to explaining the purpose of the multiple tests and examines that I was taken in for and no time dedicated to explaining what the cost of every test would be (despite being in network, additional tests and ‘surgeries’ culminated in a enormous bill). The entire appointment was a series of going in and out of exam rooms and back to the waiting room, 3 rounds of that before even meeting the doctor. I felt handled not seen to or cared for. I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere for care.

Beware the free consultation. If you don’t do the procedure, they may bill you. I went in for cross-linking consultation re keratoconus. Doc seemed knowledgeable and explained the procedures to me. Her office never followed up with materials they promised but that was ok since I decided not to move forward. 17 months after my free consultation, I got a bill for $658 for some eye drops she put in. The bill indicated I was already 30-60 days overdue. I disputed the charge and their office reversed it after two phone calls but did not apologize. Beware surprise bills from Dr. Rapoport’s office and don’t let her do any favors for you if you get a consult.

The most positive life changing procedure I’ve ever done, going for someone who’s worn contacts everyday for 2 decades to having 20/20 vision post SMILE. Dr. Yuna Rapoport is incredible and gentle. I’m very happy to have had her through this procedure
