I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes (100 minutes) AFTER my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. I asked twice if there was an update on the wait. They told me that the doctor takes his time with each patient and that they were understaffed and only had one doctor to see all patients. When the doctor came in he spent about 4 minutes with me. He only stopped because I asked questions. He didn't even examine my eyes thoroughly as this was my annual checkup. This experience was extremely disappointing as this office is the only one that takes my insurance. It's located inside of St Michael's hospital with no directions or help to get in and around the building. This was a complete waste of time and now I have to explain to my work why I've been out for 2 and 1/2 hours. This is not an isolated incident as everyone in that office was waiting at least an hour and a half to be seen. Lastly I can only assume that they have a high rating on Google because they constantly harass their patients with text messaging encouraging them to leave five star reviews. When you attempt to leave a grievance it redirects you for an email that is sent to them where they do absolutely nothing to improve how the office functions.

He always takes time to explain things with you, about eye care and any procedures you may be having with him. Highly recommend Marano Eye Care for their entire Staff, especially for Paula, Ashley, Maria, Bao and their Eye Doctors.

His attendance were Swift, polite and courteous. The office was clean and the eye doctor's interest shown towards me we're genuine and thorough. Also any prescriptions I needed were sent to my Pharmacy the same day. I definitely will go back to Marano's Eye Care.

I have been lied to several times about how to set up appointments. My condition has only gotten worse. Please for the sake of your health find a different place.
