Moadel Eye Specialists of New York

I cannot praise/ thank Moadel Eye Specialists enough. Having needed glasses and contact lenses since I was 10 years old (63 years) I was able to see perfectly clear out of the operated upon eye . . . IN APPROXIMATELY THREE HOURS!!!!! The wonderful Dr. J examined me less than 24 hours after the first procedure and confirmed me wildest dreams . . . Moadel Eye Specialists gave me 20/20 vision out of my eye (I believe it was over 20/200 the day before). Thank you to the entire, friendly, professional and wonderful staff (I am bad at names but there was not one member of the staff at Moadel Eye Specialists of NY who was anything less than caring and an angel). Thanks to Dr. J, Andreas Salcedo and everybody there. My only regret? I did not do this years earlier! I have a new lease on life. See you for Procedure # 2 next Thursday.

From the moment you come in you are greated with warm. You could only feel that you have made a great choice. The staff takes every single step to make you feel not only comfortable but at ease with the procedure. I have nothing but praises for the results! I wish all my doctors were like this.

Hello, my name is Patricia. I had surgery 17 years ago and I'm doing very well. I went back for a check-up after 17 years and everything is fine, thank God. I don't need glasses anymore. I'm waiting for my son to have surgery. I'm very happy with the doctor. Of course, you're fine if you take care of yourself after the surgery. The doctors do their procedure. The rest is up to us. Self-care after surgery is very important.

Dr. Moadel is the best in the game. I had surgery the same day as my consult and was in and out in 2 hours. They make financing with CareCredit really easy too. The whole staff is bubbly and welcoming, and the doctor is kind and extremely competent. I also have glaucoma and my glaucoma specialist recommended Dr. Moadel because he can perform LASIK on special cases as well. And he will absolutely tell you if you are not a candidate and it’s not worth it/safe for you to get LASIK. I would recommend him to friends and family, and ANYONE looking for a life changing fix for their vision.

I had a RPK procedure done by Dr Moadel and which completely fixed my astigmatism and my -2 vision. I am thrilled about the results knowing I’m now better than 20/20. The staff were incredible! Very helpful before and during the process. I was quite nervous leading up to the procedure but they really helped with comforting me and ensuring that my procedure would be a success. The recover was quite easy. More irritating than painful and that was mainly during the first 5-7 days. I was able to get back on my computer and do my work (from home) by the 5th days. As someone who didn’t “need” it done, I couldn’t recommend the surgery enough!
