I saw a few bad reviews here and I am TOTALLY STUNNED. My mom was originally referred to Dr. Ferreira back in 2018. At that time he performed an emergency eye surgery on my mom for closed angle glaucoma. It was a very intricate and serious procedure. With his focus, determination and high skill level in ophthalmology surgery, the results were successful. My mom is now in her 80’s and can see out of her eye. Dr. Ferreira actually saved her eye!!!! In doing so, he was not only competent and knowledgeable, but also very caring and warm in his approach and communication with my mom and family. He explained everything clearly and concisely. He was very honest about the risks and benefits in doing this type of surgery. My mom felt assured and comfortable every step of the way. Both my mom and I are still current patients of Dr. Ferreira. He has always been consistent in his warm and cheerful bedside manner, as well as his knowledge and competence from routine check-ups to complex surgeries. I highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

Jan 09, 2025 · nikig1023I’m going to base this review on my parents experience seeing as I personally have not been there. My dad had an eye surgery about a year or two ago in some other eye place but he’s afraid of needles and ended up having issues with the eye after surgery and couldn’t see anything clearly. My mom told me that this doctor was straight with him, he didn’t talk to him in a “This will all be okay” she said the doctor was firm and told my dad flat out what will happen if he doesn’t put in effort because my dad was very “There’s no fixing it” kind of attitude. Now my dad is so happy he can see from his eye again that even when I’m driving he’s reading outloud license plates like a kid who learned the alphabet. My mom really likes Dr. Ferreira and she’s referred a couple of people who also seem to like how he works. Now again, I myself haven’t gone but I will say I appreciate him giving my dad his eyesight back.

Dealing with eye issues is stressful and painful; I am really grateful to have someone as knowledgable and thoughtful as he is to help me sort it all out.
Oct 26, 2024 · Carinne NicosiaDr. Ferriera is a horrible doctor. My mother went for eye treatment and was alone with him in his office. Dr. Ferrera was so gross in the way he treated her. My mother returned home depressed and cried. This doctor is callous and unprofessional, I am totally shocked because my mother is a very humble woman and kind. But mean spirited people like Dr. Ferrera don't care because they feel that they are better. Dr. Ferriera don't work with humble people, you don't deserve to be around kind people. I do not understand how is profile states accolades and yet he is soo mean. Dr. Ferrera is wolf in sheep's clothing! Behind closed doors, alone with a humble patient, he is gross, he is not what he is portrayed to be because God knows my mother experienced his gross behavior.
