OCLI Vision Richmond Hill (NY Vision)

In and out in an hour. 5-6 tests done for a comprehensive eye exam. Mostly all the staff is pleasant. Dr. Kevin Singh was thorough with reviewing the results and explained everything with great knowledge.

I had a 2:30pm appt, and sat there for two and a half hours. I never write reviews for anything but that’s actually insane. First of all, I had to sit and waste two and a half hours of my day in a packed waiting room only to be seen at 4:53? Be real. I was not given any option to reschedule. Secondly, your techs are unprofessional and rude. Whoever your hiring manager is for this location needs to be fired. No adult at a real adult job acts like that. This is a medical practice, get it together. When I was finally called in to be seen, I was then asked to leave the exam room so they could fix my chart? You had 2+ hours to get the chart in order, be serious. The exam was then rushed because YOU AND YOUR TEAM are incapable of time management. You being backed up is not my concern or problem. I made an appointment and showed up at the allotted time. I now have to come back in a month to get another exam done that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE TODAY. I understand being backed up and things going wrong but if I came in at 2:30pm and left after 5 with NO ONE IN THE WAITING ROOM, something is wrong. If your office is going to reply to this review, it should absolutely be with apologies and compensation rather than that impersonal, copy and pasted bullshit.

Since they opened ive been going there. It's gotten worse. I worked as a medical assistant in various practices and not only some of your workers are rude, but why schedule people and still have 4 or 5 people ahead of them. I have a life. I cant dedicated 3 to 4 hours to just the ophthalmologist. Yall need to be thoughtful. You're used to a certain demographic of people that won't complain because they're mostly elderly and retired. Cater to everyone ! Its always Disappointing. Im finding a new place ASAP!

I’m very disappointed about their service. Recently, my dad got surgery for his eye and he had follow up with doctor. We went there exactly on time but the waiting time is insane, it’s literally took 5hrs for one patient to see the doctor and there is no acknowledgement at all from any of the employee for the long waiting time period. If, you asked any of the front desk employee how long approximately wait time, looks like they feel bothered at this point. Also, once doctor already done to see the patient, and doctor will tell you to make a next follow up appointment in front desk, as soon you got there they will ask u to have a seat we will call you to make an appointment. I’m very confused how many times patients have to wait while they already done seeing the doctor? Hope this feedback goes to person attention whoever leading this OCLI Vision management. I hope you guys could do better and give great service to the patient.

Had a follow up appointment with Dr. Malik in the Murray Hill office, called the Richmond Hill office (where I originally saw Dr. Malik) to confirm the appointment 2 weeks before, was told I'm all set. Day of appointment I checked in and waited for an hour, eventually talked to the receptionist and was told that Dr. Malik no longer works at this office location. No one from Richmond Hill called to let me know and they even confirmed the appointment time/location with me. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional
