I had a great Experience with LASIK! Thank you Dr. Fong. After years of hesitation, I finally got laser eye surgery in mid-January—and I couldn’t be happier! The whole process was smooth and much faster than I expected. The actual procedure took less than 10 minutes with no pain or discomfort. Recovery was quick—I was back to work the next day. My vision was slightly foggy at first, but it cleared up within days. By my follow-up, everything was sharp and clear. Dr. Raymond Fong and his team were professional and reassuring throughout. Dr. Fong and his staff's bedside manner are amazing!! Elena the surgical consultant patiently answered all my questions about LASIK and we even reviewed the pros/cons of other corrective options I could do. They also took into consideration my finances which I really appreciated. They are very easy to reach for any concerns you might have.

I have eye surgery on January 2025. Dr. Fong was very professional. I am really enjoy my improved vision and truly appreciate their care and patience in answering all my questions.

The staff themselves are fine and decent. But my biggest problem with this place is the fact that appointments don't matter. Even with apartments both times I went, I still had to wait 30 minutes before I was finally called up to get my check up started. I would be less annoyed if I could get weekend appointments, but for someone who is working you would likely need to block off at least half a day to consider coming to this place.

Along with many others that have experienced this awful place. They take advantage of the massive Chinese population in this area and his connection with the Chinese family doctors in the area. The receptionists are rude. Example - My dad made an appointment in advance to be seen when they open, meaning one of, if not, the first patient, because he has other commitments. This seems reasonable right? I don't believe thinking being seen on or around appointment time is unreasonable. This is what an appointment means right? He went to his appointment early hoping he would be seen at least on time, not early. When he arrived, there was already a room full of patients, well over an hour AFTER his appointment, my dad asked the receptionist if he would be seen soon and how many are before him. The receptionist said "You see the room full of people, you'll have to wait and if you cannot wait, you can leave." ____ I'll leave this to the reader to digest... ON TO THE Doctor & treatment: My dad is a senior in his late 60s, he is an overall healthy man with normal aging eye problems such as being far sighted. HOWEVER with his age... he unluckily got shingles (AKA chicken pox for adults) and it happened to be by his eye...hence needing to go to the Ophthalmologists. My dad was not able to take the 1 medication the doctor prescribed, not because it was a big pill or he couldn't keep up with it. But because it made him feel severely ill, causing stomach pains and vomiting. This doctor said 'since you cannot follow my orders, I am unable to treat you, here is a referral to see another doctor.' I assume that since my dad does not need LASIK; eye surgery or any big ticket item, the doctor could not be bothered to help my dad by prescribing or offering a different treatment solution. As per the previous reviews, if it is not an eye surgery the reviews do not seem to be positive at all. This doctor tried to pass the ball to another one. A few weeks has passed & my dad cannot see out of his eye now. MAYBE the doctor would consider this to be a big ticket item as he may now need surgery...
