I will never go anywhere else for my glasses. Dr. Shoaib is kind, patient and attentive and is one of those people that just radiates welcome calm. Zuleika (the owner) is an utter gem. She is outrageously knowledgeable, kind, funny, and patient while I try on every frame in the store every time I need new glasses. And after I’ve done that, I always end up choosing a pair she chose for me that I never would have considered for myself. The entire staff is truly wonderful. I’ve never had an interaction with anyone there that didn’t leave me smiling.

I had a really great experience here. The staff were extremely kind and informative and I appreciated the transparency about pricing. It was also amazing to get true and honest help picking out new frames (that looked great)!

Appointment-making, intake, exams, frame consulting -- everything Dr. Shoaib and Zuleika do is done with the care, professionalism, and style that you expect from a five-star business. It's a great shop and I've been very well-served over the last 7+ years.

Personalized care and exceptional service, even during the current COVID 19 pandemic. Dr. Shoaib answered all my questions and helped me understand what I needed to do for my visual health. Recognized me through the door even though I was only there once before. Cute and organized shop with competitive prices. Accepted my Davis Vision plan and ended up getting a pair of glasses with a sweet gold accent. All in all, would recommend to friends and family in the Greenpoint area.

We’ve been coming to Sunny Eye Shop for as long as they’ve been in the neighborhood and feel so lucky to visit Zuleika and Dr. Shoaib every time. Over the years Zuleika has helped my husband and I find frames we love made going to the eye doctor a fun part of our day.
