Ok. So the only issue I have is the young woman who works there now. Rude, unfriendly & pushy. I've been going there for years on & off. I believe the place was sold as the prior owner probably retired. The young Asian Dr (I don't know his name) was very nice & gave me a great exam. The young woman at the counter tho, zero people skills & nothing kind, warm or inviting about her at all. Years ago there was a couple of counter people who were great. She also called 3, 4 times in the span of a half hour while I was in transit to get to my appointment. I was 10 minutes late & NO ONE was in the place when I walked in so why did she call me 4 times when I told her i would be there shortly when she first called me. Unbelievable of her to do that. Terrible for business.

If you’re looking for service and nice people do not go here!!! I’ve never been so insulted in my life walked in this morning…. I was coming in to have a pair of my glasses redone, I’ve been coming here for years the woman/girl at the counter was so rude!! I couldn’t even believe it I walked in without a mask, I said I didn’t have one. If you want people to wear masks which I totally understand you should have a box of masks for your customers when they walk in. Shame on you!! I run a business also and we have masks for people to put on if they don’t have them. I just went down the block on Bell Blvd to Eyes on Bell and ordered my new lens and frames $875.00 and they had masks at the entrance and amazing customer service.

The only reason I kept going back was because I loved the doctor, super great, but the manager and how they handle business is awful! This last time I went for a contacts exam/ fitting and they charged me $90 as the copayment just for the exam (I have insurance). When I called to ask for an explanation of the bill, the manager couldn't give me one and after arguing on the phone, she finally decided to check with my insurance (why didn't she do this BEFORE she charged me???), she then realized she overcharged me $30!!! Of course she then tried to only give me store credit for the $30, like what. After I repeatedly asked for a refund, she gave it to me, after letting me know I still had a $130 credit from my insurance to order contacts. The next day I asked for a copy of my prescription because of course I am not buying my contacts with them anymore. She called me to try to pressure me to order with them claiming I owed them money if I ordered with someone else and reminded me I had a $130 credit from my insurance with them. Makes no sense. Well I called my insurance and had them explain what they charged me and apparently they charged me $200 for the exam ONLY and I no longer had a $130 credit to order contacts, because they used that all towards their bill. The biggest scammers out there, I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone I know. My only advice is ask for an explanation of your bill every time and make them check with your insurance first.

So many other places with better service and attitude around this area. Avoid

I went in for an annual vision exam. The service was excellent, From beginning to end. The doctor was very professional and thorough. The selection of eyewear was very nice. The staff was very helpful in selecting eyewear without being pushy. I was very satisfied with the experience.
