I'm not sure why others seem to have had such a bad experience because I had a very good one. They break up the appointment into segments (doing the light test almoat as soon as I enter). The office can get busy, but that's every office post-covid. She helped my eye pressure go down dramatically and I feel so much better because of it. I think a lot of the issues people have are ones with insurance, which isn't their fault.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My mother went here after her eye doctor retired and this office was the new ownership. Not only did she have to wait a month and a half to be seen by the doctor, but on the day of, she wasn’t seen by the doctor until 3 HOURS after her appointment time. When she first walked in, she asked how long it would take to be seen by the doctor and the front desk said it would be 2 hours. My mom then asked to cancel her appointment because the wait time was too long and they told her that the doctor will be with her shortly. That was a complete lie and she stayed at the office for 3 hours. If you have an entire day to to kill and want to go to an office that doesn’t honor appointment times AT ALL, this is the place to go. Never again.

Set up an appointment 3 weeks ago and was told they accepted my health insurance. When they called the day before to verify my appointment, they again asked about my insurance again, and I gave it to them. They reinsured that they accepted my insurance. Got to my appointment today to be rudely told at the front desk, the doctor didn't accept my insurance plan. After filling out all of their paperwork at home(1hour) and catching and Uber to the office($13), all I wanted to know was who called me yesterday to verify my appointment so they can be told that my insurance plan wasn't taken. I advise anyone who's a new patient to have them put your insurance info into the portal and verify. Also, get the name of the person who is taking your info. The woman at the front desk had no interest in finding out and verifying my plan. Being someone who is elderly and disabled, this was a huge waste of my time and limited income. I want to give them a zero for rudeness, lack of care for a potential patient, and not properly having staff trained correctly.

The front desk staff is horrendous and I honestly wouldn’t want to return to deal with them again. They called me multiple times passive aggressively about how I was supposed to be in early to do paperwork. *I filled out all the forms online and emailed it to them over a month ago. I had printed them out to bring with me anyway to ensure they had it, but I guess I was missing a page. Got a call while I was literally outside the office and it was 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. The lady aggressively said “I thought you were coming early.” I informed her I was coming in and she hung up. When I got to the door, there was a group of people at the door locked out, waiting around to be let into the office for several minutes anyway. The waiting room had like 10 other people in it when I walked in. I gave my printed, pre-filled forms to the front desk lady. She rudely told me that I was still missing forms. “I thought you had all the forms” and looked at me like I was stupid. Mind you, she rushed me to my appointment to fill out all these forms and I saved them some time providing most of them, pre-filled out. AND I emailed the forms to them 6 weeks ago??? I said “okay, what other forms are there?” She said I was missing a lot of forms, “A LOT missing” — then she handed me one form just for basic patient info. I was called in by the PA before I could finish the form — it was thrown back to me because I was missing the zipcode for my pharmacy address (it literally takes a quick google but she seemed too technologically incompetent to do so… and to open an email to download my forms I guess.) There was a lot of passive aggressive back and forth to triple check if I filled out all the forms and did so correctly, plus nitpicky details — she didn’t think I signed it because of how my signature looked .. I pointed it out to her that it was signed, and then she asked me “…that’s your signature?” I did tell the doctor about this and she was understanding, because that they have received similar complaints from other patients. The doctor was great, nice, and quick, but she said unfortunately it wasn’t her office, she was only employed here. I’ve worked in patient facing medical environments before, being someone with severe chronic issues I’ve encountered a lot of doctors’ offices. However, this was the most shocking and rude, CONTINUOUS interaction with someone I’ve ever had in a medical setting. I couldn’t wait to get out of that office. That front desk lady will literally be that office’s downfall.
