One of the worst experiences I've ever had! I've been going to eye doctors for over 20 years, but decided to try a new place closer to home, and what a mistake that was. First, I waited two hours from my scheduled appointment time to be seen! When I arrived, I was told to remove my contacts (which is standard), but I’ve always been seen within minutes after doing so. Instead, I sat in the waiting room, partially blind, for two hours before seeing the doctor. Why ask me to remove my contacts if I wouldn’t be seen right away? By the time I was called, I had a headache from straining to see. When I finally saw the doctor, he seemed upset that I hadn’t brought my glasses. I explained that I don’t use or wear them because I rely solely on contacts, but he seemed judgmental and told me I should bring them in the future for them to help me properly. During the exam, he placed drops in my eyes without explaining their purpose, only saying it was “part of the exam” and instructing me to wait another 10 minutes in the waiting room. Later, I learned these were dilation drops, which would make my vision blurry and cause light sensitivity for a few hours. No one warned me, though, and I had to drive home and work afterward, which I was unable to do safely due to the effects of the drops. After the exam, I asked for my prescription strength, but the doctor refused, stating (1) he couldn’t provide it without my glasses to compare, and (2) they don’t give out prescription details since they expect patients to buy contacts directly from them. Even when I asked for the strength just for reference, he declined and sent me upstairs to inquire about ordering lenses, only for me to find out that they don’t accept my insurance. I then had to go back downstairs to request a prescription so I could place an order elsewhere. Adding to the frustration, the staff seemed impatient with clients. They were polite enough with me, but I witnessed them speaking harshly and impatiently with elderly clients who didn’t understand their instructions. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this place and cannot recommend it.

Worst eye doctor ever. I took my mother to him couple of times in the past because she was telling me that her eyes not feeling well and he kept telling me that she has no problem every time after he checks her eyes. I felt something was wrong, so, I switched him to another doctor who told me that my mother had a hemmorage in her eyes and needs a retina doctor as soon as possible who did a laser procedure to her rightaway. Thank God she didn't lose her vision!

Friendly staff. Doctor makes a great effort to communicate with his Spanish speaking patients. He explains the condition of the illness, and the directions for taking the medication. My only complaint is the wait to be seen. Had an 11a appointment and was seen at 12:05p, and that is not including the 20mins early arrival. Also, updating the wall decour and the furniture is way overdue.

I do not recommend this place for kids!! My daughter is 5 & was the only kid in there. It was a bad experience all around! My daughter’s appointment was at 10:45am and wasn’t seen until after 1pm. When she was finally called in, it felt so rushed because he had 10 other patients. Mr. Braunstein did NOT make my daughter feel comfortable & was rough with her. She walked out of there very upset and said “mommy I don’t want to come here ever again.” I will most definitely take her up on that & find her another doctor.

Worst customer service the overbooked the patients and they never put the patient needs first. The front desk worst ever rough especially the person who schedule your appointment and they only want your money, they schedule like 5 patients and the same time and then they cannot see you. They should give the front desk a class to how to treat the patients.
