Fantastic experience start to finish. The optometrist was very helpful in navigating my new vision insurance and helped me find a set of frames I was really happy with. No pressure or upsell, very clean and relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience getting examined for new contact lenses. Dr. Boris was thorough and explained to me how my eyes had changed since my old prescription. He fixed a major mistake in my previous astigmatism prescription. The man at the front (I think his name was bob?) was also super nice, as was the woman whose name I didn’t catch. Super easy to order lenses, and they informed me of a promotion and rebate happening at the time. I will continue to go here for my optometry needs.

I had a pair of Gucci eyeglasses that I needed a new prescription for. I had the script from my ophthalmologist elsewhere. The lady behind the counter was nice but I sensed she didn’t like the fact I bought in my own frame. I got the frame back with the new prescription & asked if they could tighten them. She wouldn’t do it because I didn’t get the frame from Cohens. I thought that was a bunch of baloney. That turned me off. I had another frame I had to update but did not go back. Went to Odyssey Optical across the street and they tightened my Gucci glasses, which I didn’t get from them. Plus the cost at Odyssey was way cheaper. They were able to use my insurance which Cohens said they could not. Cohens lost me as a customer.

I went in to have an eye exam as my eyes were acting their age! I was met by an extremely knowledgeable and professional woman named “Georgia” she knew the products very well and even helped me to pick the perfect frames for my face. This place is great Dr. Boris a master at his craft! Very thankful to these folks for helping me to see again! If you need Specs this is the spot! Go see Georgia and Dr. Boris Best in the Biz! FACTS!!!

Just moved to astoria, fell asleep on my glasses and needed them adjusted. I went here (a few times) and they helped me immediately. Very nice people would recommend!
