I had had a positive experience buying sunglasses from this store in the past so I went in to get new glasses. I had been given two frames to re-lens and they adeptly pointed out one frame has a near invisible crack and would likely not survive changing them out. I thought I knew my prescription and they encouraged me to have the exam as I was to be investing no small change to put quality lenses in my frames. Quick check of insurance and I was covered for an exam, and from the 3 in the front to the exam by the Optometrist - who determined my prescription had in fact changed had such a wonderful experience. All in the location seem to actually care about their work which made my experience a treat. Highly recommend!

Always a bait and switch with these people. 1-First I owed $200 for a contact exam that Superior Vision Insurance claimed they paid for. 2-Then I owed nothing. 3-Then it was $140 for my contacts, 2 boxes. 4-Then they claimed they could send one box which the insurance paid for. 5-Now it's $160 for the one eye with NO prescription because I use monovision contacts. Meanwhile the portal to order has not gotten my updated prescription so they're holding me hostage after being paid for an exam and cheating me out of 2 months to purchase my contacts elsewhere. What a scam! Dave is a problem and will bring a lawsuit to this business.

The worst, if I could give them a 0 star I would. I wanted a frame that I saw, and asked about the black Friday deal, over the phone. The sale person told me they were half off. My husband put $50 down over the phone before he put the $50 down I spoke to the lady and ask her point blank how much just for the frames without prescription and she quoted me half off. She also told me there are deals if I fill my prescription there. When I got there, it was only 20% off and only if I fill my prescription that I will get half off the price was high I couldn’t believe my ears. The store manager kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain my conversation stating that she was right next to the lady when she was talking to me. The lady that I spoke to on the phone was there too when she was trying to talk to the manager, she cut her off. The manager acted like a true used car sales men. They only offer store credit. my husband did not want me to create a scene so we picked out another frame. They cost us so much. I can find those frames online for half the price. These people are like car salesman. They are crooks switch and bait. Stay away run!!!

The customer service provided by Andy at the 23rd and Lex Cohens is GREAT! He was very knowledgeable of my insurance and so very helpful and explained my options in detail. He was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. The doc, Abraham Avnilov, was also GREAT. He was very thorough and detailed in my exam and presented multiple options based on my needs. He was friendly and I did nor feel rushed. I HIGHLY recommend this location for their service, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness.

Very Rude I've Spend Good and Long Money with Cohens Optical for YEARS.Walked in to see about Fixing My Cazal Glasses ..The rude worker (Female Long Black hair Skinny and Tall) Abruptly Stated She needs to see them First.Before I can specify my exact concerns or show photo of said Issue; She cuts me off and states NO..Before I lose my cool and said some choice words I immediately left.If your busy and can't handle multiple people at once cool I have no problem waiting but the disrespect comes when your trying to talk over me or tell me what MY PROBLEM IS..First and Last time going to 23rd St Cohens and will rethink spending new or repair money at this company again
