Get directionsThis is by far the best eye doctor I have ever visted - hands down. Not only was I treated with care and diligence, but Dr Schorn explained everything in great detail, gave advice on how to take preventative measures and had outstanding tips. Everything was super transparent and clear. Highly recommended!
Jan 08, 2024 · Tino MehlmannThey were great for the first few years but on my last visit I paid for lenses that I never received and they refuse to return my calls to discuss a refund or what happened to the lenses.
Dec 28, 2023 · Michael Chovan-DaltonOne of the best optometry offices I've been to. I have been a regular patient here for about 5 years and even though we have moved out of the area we continue to visit this practice. Dr Purnell is stellar and very knowledgeable. They are not stingy in giving samples to make sure you are matched with the best contact type and brand for you. We recently had an eye related emergency which required 4 visits without prior appointments in a short period of time, and they made sure to accommodate us during times we were free to visit. Highly recommend this office and Dr. Purnell.
Aug 21, 2017 · Cathryn UttWhen I first needed vision correction back in high school, which was like 7 years ago, I remember the doctor (Pernell) being very pleasant and nice. Which is why 7 years later I decided to return since I recently obtained vision insurance through my work place. (Did not have any type of insurance previously, so I was going to the vision center at Walmart) When I called to schedule an appointment, not only was the female receptionist very abrupt but she was very nasty and even sounded very judgmental prior to me explaining why I haven't been there in all those years. It wasn't what she said, it was the attitude. It seemed as though she had a "get to the point attitude". I'm not one to talk people's ear off at all, in fact I'm the opposite-- straight forward and to the point. It also seemed as though she was annoyed to even be on the phone with me, that I was inconveniencing her in some way. I practically heard her sighing and huffing and puffing through the phone. Being in customer service for over 10 years, attitude is everything and her being a receptionist should know better. I'm NEVER one to ever complain but I was so shocked by this that I really felt led to write a review. Unfortunately, some people need to learn the hard way. I would expect that type of attitude if she was calling/I was calling to pay a delinquent bill, not schedule an appointment as technically a new patient. I decided to cancel the appointment and go to another practice. The ONLY reason why I gave it two stars is because of the good experience I had years ago with the Dr himself. Hopefully this is a reality check for that receptionist.
Mar 31, 2017 · Kaitlynn RoseThe exam was fine, nothing special. The exam room is less like a doctor's office and more like a living room (and a cheap one at that). We also bought contacts and glasses. The glasses costs upwards of $300 and came back a week later with cheap lenses and no anti-glare or anti-reflective coating. The contacts were ordered straight off 1-800-CONTACTS and given an upcharge. The staff did not code our insurance correctly, so I had to call the insurance myself to get reimbursed for the glasses and contacts. Go here for the exam if your insurance covers it, but get your glasses and contacts elsewhere.
