No, I do not recommend having any services at Omni or Kremer. I was initially referred by my ophthalmologist and things went fine, at first. After an error on their part, they are now lying about what happened and refusing to adjust my bill. I had planned to have my other eye done there as well, but I will be looking elsewhere if I even get it done. After my PKT procedure this spring, which itself went fine with Dr. Gupta, I returned for the follow-up appointment the next day. Dr. Rosetta put a Prokera on my eye. (I didn’t not know what it was called at the time or that this was going to be billed at twice the rate of the actual procedure to me and my insurance.) Unfortunately, it had to be removed within 10 minutes because it turns out there was an eyelash on my eye. Imagine having that trapped and irritating your freshly resurfaced cornea for days! It was painful, not merely”uncomfortable” for a bit like she had said. It was removed by Naisa and she was the one who said there was an eyelash. (They have since removed this from their records, which is infuriating because that amounts to a lie. I have a video recording taken on the day of me describing what happened.) After that traumatic experience of my eyes tearing uncontrollably, I was thrilled to have it removed. She told me I didn't need it, so I was happy to not have it put back. Of course, I didn't know that they would still bill me for $3000 nor was I informed it could be placed again. When I received the bill I immediately asked to discuss it and was told I needed to speak to my insurance company. They insisted I file an appeal, which took 90 days. The appeal was denied because they “placed the device”. To me, the fact it was removed due to the eyelash, means we have been billed for something we didn't receive nor benefit from. I understand mistakes happen, but patients should not be held responsible for mistakes their providers make. The insurance company said I had to dispute the bill with the provider, which I have been trying to do for months. The first person I spoke with kept saying he would look into it. He seemed sympathetic. I had to keep calling and emailing him and one day I learned he no longer worked there. The person who replaced him also took my info and said they would get back to me. A month and several emails later, she replied with a statement which included misinformation about what happened. (mainly that it wasn’t an eyelash, that there was no eyelash) This is false and now I am more irritated because I don’t appreciate being gaslit. I have been given the runaround for 7 months. Had this been handled well from the start, I’d have likely had my other eye done and they would have made double from me and my insurance company. Alas, this appears to be my only recourse to warn others to find a provider who will treat its patients fairly.

Dec 30, 2024 · Kristy MayEveryone working here is so warm and friendly. I had nothing but great experiences from the moment I walked in for my first consultation. I had a Lasik procedure done and I could not be happier with the results! I have 20/15 vision now and it’s all thanks to their brilliant doctors. I’ve started recommending this to all my friends and family!
Apr 23, 2023 · Christian PiscoIt was a wonderful experience getting my Lasik done here. The staff was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They were able to answer all my questions with a clear explanation and helped me walk into the procedure worry free. The results of the procedure has been life changing ran into no complications. I will be sending anyone I know to get their lasik eye procedure here.
Apr 14, 2023 · Alex BlancoI never thought much about getting Lasik, but the amount of money that I'm saving on contacts and glasses really makes a difference. And I see 20/20 vision!!! The staff is amazing and Dr. Malley went through everything step by step to ensure that I was comfortable before and after the surgery. Twelve minutes of my life has changed it forever and I couldn't be happier.
Jan 24, 2020 · marta dlugoszEverything went smooth from the pre-op evaluation, to the day of the LASIK procedure and the post-op visit. Dr. Rosetta was very clear with explaining to me why I was a candidate for LASIK after she completed all of the appropriate testing. She explained every detail of the procedure to me and made sure I had my medications for after the procedure many days in advance. On the day of surgery, the entire staff was very helpful and they were very nurturing. At no point did I feel things were being rushed. Dr. Malley explained the procedure to me just prior to prepping me. She talked me through the entire procedure and was very precise with wanting me to do things correctly, making sure I was comfortable along the way. I followed all after procedure instructions and ended up with perfect vision in both eyes! I highly recommend Kremer Eye Center!!! Definitely will be sending all my family and friends their way!!!
