It’s always a pleasure to see her and she makes me feel confident that my eyes will continue to improve and feel more comfortable as time goes on. I’ve been to other eye doctors and it’s no comparison to Northern NJ Eye Institute. I would highly recommend Dr. Considine, specifically.

Oct 22, 2023 · Sophie KThis is a very conflicted review because, on one hand, the medical care is excellent. I would send my parents here if they needed serious medical eye care. On the other hand, I have never been to the office when it did not take 3 hours for a 30 minute eye appointment. Many of us are working professionals, parents, or simply people who cannot devote an entire afternoon to wait for a routine eye exam. It's an administrative shortcoming that could be simply resolved by booking people with realistic treatment windows. If you can't see someone until 3pm, don't book their appointment for 1pm. I saw them chastise someone for being 10 minutes late, while I was (and they were) expected to wait over two hours. It's just not practical, and it's unfortunate, because it's a great medical facility. If you are in need of serious medical eye care, are a retiree, or simply can wait an entire afternoon, absolutely go here. If you just need a check-up, this is not necessarily the best choice.
