Jan 05, 2025 · Lisa FuchsConvenient neighborhood glasses store. Easy and fast experience. Found me the perfect fit glasses according to my prescription.
Mar 04, 2025 · H MThis place is a scam, do not go here. It all went downhill with the previous manager Jonathan, at some point he just stopped caring about the business. After it was sold to the new owner, it turned into your regular money milking optical. They will lie to you, and try to sell you the most expensive items and services. Hidden charges too, while charging the insurance as well. Please think twice before going here, or else you will get robbed in broad daylight. The only good thing about this place is the handsome young man who performs some eye exams like glaucoma test, and sonography test before the doctor sees you. He's very smart and good looking too. My one star goes to him
Sep 04, 2024 · Queen Washingtonwent here to get an eye exam, and new glasses. Its a neighborhood optical place. The gentleman that performs the field test, and glaucoma test is great very smart and very nice. The room that these tests are performed are very small ! Once those tests are complete you are met with the Dr Erica something (i do not remember her last name) she is very nice too. I was written a RX for glasses a light prescription, and purchased a pair of glasses. Price was decent for my frames and lens
Aug 16, 2024 · Cat Cregg**The optometrist himself is wonderful and amazing and I wish I could rate him separately because he is 5+ stars for sure! Also, I came here two years ago and had such a fantastic experience I chose to go here again instead of finding a closer optometrist, but my recent experience has so soured any love I had for this place. Words cannot express how infuriated I am with this establishment. They are incompetent, uncommunitive, and unreliable. DO NOT go by their hours of operation. They show up for work whenever they feel like it. I have been trying to pick up my glasses for a MONTH, to no avail. I have wasted 4 hours of my life walking here and back. I came in early April for my eye exam, when I asked when I should expect my glasses to be ready for pick up they said either by the end of the week or early the next week. They left a message over the weekend stating my glasses were ready. I walked the 30min to Midwood optical during their "open hours" to find a sign taped to their shuttered door saying they would be closed through the end of the month, over two weeks for a PLANNED VACATION. At no point, either in person or over the phone, did they communicate the closure for me to plan around it. When I came to finially pick up my glasses the week they reopened there was a bubble in the glass of the right eye, they were reluctant at first then acted like they were doing me a huge favor when I pointed it out and asked that they not sell me a defective item and to please fix it. They said the glasses would be ready by 10:30 am on Tuesday May 7th. I arrived at 12:45pm for them to tell me "funny story, those lenses were backordered, you'll have to come back some other time". At this point I started to loose it, questioned why when they found out they didn't call to inform me and stop me for once again waiting my time. They acted shocked and that the thought to call their customer and inform them a pertinent update was a novel idea. They assured me they would take care of it this week. Yesterday, I got a call that my fixed glasses were in and I could come pick them up. I arrived today 50minutes into their open hours and the door was shuttered. This business honestly seems like a sham, and I don't recommend anyone ever waste their time, money, or insurance here.
