Dr Gelfond, and my vision therapist Anna, radically changed my life. I would call them miracle workers, but I do not want to diminish their high level of skill and expertise as science-based practitioners. They are also wonderful human beings, incredibly compassionate and patient. The entire NYC Pupil Team is very kind. Following two concussions, and developing a binocular vision disorder with chronic migraines, I bounced around to at least a dozen doctors across multiple states over 5+ years. While other Drs concurred on the general diagnosis and issues, Dr. Gelfond was the only Dr who was able to help with an effective treatment plan. Do not hesitate in seeing Dr Gelfond. We visited Dr. Gelfond for my 10-month-old's first vision test, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we walked in, Dr. Gelfond made us feel welcome and at ease. She has an incredible way with children, and her patience and gentle demeanor immediately put my little one at ease. The exam was thorough yet perfectly tailored for a baby, and Dr. Gelfond took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure I was comfortable and informed. Her expertise in pediatric optometry is evident, and I left feeling confident that my child was in the best hands. Dr. Gelfond went above and beyond by even recommending toys for my son’s age and beyond to help keep him tablet-free, along with great book suggestions. Dr Gelfond has great bedside manner. Her staff is very kind and friendly. The office is clean and equipped with high tech tools to properly diagnose and treat the eyes. I highly recommend for all ages to come visit Dr Gelfond and company.

My son has been thriving since his very first visit years ago. Between vision therapy & scheduled monitoring. Will not go anywhere else! Her bedside matter goes further than just “eyes” as well!
