Peter was very quick to reply to my email and was very kind when addressing my questions regarding scratched lenses and loose frame (I abused my glasses). When I went in person to show them, the girl who helped me said that she would check with my insurance to see if new lenses were covered. She told me that if I don't hear from her, then it's covered; what I didn't imagine is that the next time she called my new lenses were ready for me to pick up and that Peter would fix my frames on the spot! I didn't have to deal with the hassle of phone calls. They just took care of me! They truly appreciate the fact that one needs their glasses as soon as possible. Highly recommend this spot!

I've been coming here since I was a little girl and have always had amazing experiences, no matter what insurance I/my parents had they always made it work, and only showing me what was in my budget so I don't fall in love with a pare out of reach. The owner has always been warm and kind towards me and my family (all four of us wear glasses now) and helping us get the perfect fit with our frames! Every time I've strayed off to a different eye glass store I've been disappointed with the selection and service. This last year I asked for "old man, Harry Potter glasses" and they delivered! I love my frames and I get compliments on them constantly.

I've been a customer of this establishment since they were open in the "old" K-Mart shopping plaza on Richmond Avenue (where Golden's used to be - remember them?) and their customer etiquette has never changed, always steadfast. You can take all the time you want to get a correct fitting, nice looking frame, proper eye examination to ensure the correct lenses are made for you AND unlimited free "adjustments" whenever necessary. Included with each eyeglass is a complementary cleaning cloth and hard or soft eyeglass case. The owner / operator of this establishment (and the help) are all top-notch and a breath of fresh air from the Staten Island Mall eyeglass facilities who MUST charge more for the same product / service you get at Vision World because of the high overhead associated with being a business within the mall. Vision World is a hidden gem and if you want good products and services when it comes to your eyesight, then this IS the place to go - hands down! Enjoy!!

The eye doctor had a great bedside manner, she was very thorough . My husband and I did not have to wait to be seen at all. The service is great , I have been recommending this location to everyone I know .
