P S Optical

Came in because my favorite Ray Bans were accidently smashed while I was driving. The lenses popped out and the frame was bent. Phil greeted me, took a look at them and said "give me a few minutes". He came back with my them brand new. Thank you Phil!!

The man there (I think Phil) today fixed my favorite glasses in no time today and was very pleasant! Will definitely be back!

I have been getting my prescription glasses made, every few years as needed, at PS Optical in Nutley by owner, Phil, for ages (as have my family members). I believe great customer service is a rare commodity. Other businesses could learn from him. He is welcoming, personable, and doesn’t rush you. Since he also wears glasses, I trust his opinion on which frames look good on me and which do not. He listens when I express a preference of a certain “look” over another and he makes suggestions. He has a large selection of frames but does not push any brand over another. He has always been willing to make any needed adjustments or repairs (like when I fell down my steps a day before a trip and bent my frames). Phil is the best! Why would I go elsewhere?

I always spend my money and support small businesses that have owners that care and go the extra mile. Phil, at PS Optical, is amazing. He's incredibly friendly, helpful, and hard working. He's fantastic at picking a variety of frames that may work and really leaves it up to you. He never pushes a particular higher end brand, but instead shows you a range. Oh yes...the best part is you can try on about a hundred frames on the wall instead of the "can I try those" behind the counter places. Love PSO.
