Dr. DeRespinis is very patient and did a thorough examination of our son with special needs who has bad anxiety every doctors visits. All the staff from front desk, Carlos and Khristen who are welcoming and helpful, Jeni,Laura and most especially Sarah who went above and beyond in helping our son complete his eye examination. I took my 7 year old daughter , I was Very happy with the staff , office and the Dr . He was patient , thorough and helpful! Very pleased to find a good eye dr for my kids.

Wonderful doctor! I have been taking my son to Dr. Derispenis since he was 3 years old. He listens to the patient and explains well of the condition and treatments. He continues to provide excellent care for my child.

Maybe the Doctors are good, I never had a problem with any of Doctors there, but a medical office is made up of staff and the way the staff operates, says a lot about the business and apparently, the staff forgets about calling their patients and rescheduling their appointments. Sometime in April someone called me and informed me that they need to reschedule my child's appointment to another date, because her Doctor was not practicing there anymore, so I rescheduled it for today and had my spouse take off work to bring our child to her appointment, only to find out that there is no appointment for today. But the worst thing is, they made it sound like no one could have done that, and that my story was not making sense. The girl I was speaking to, ended up putting me on hold and then someone completely new and unaware of, what I needed, came on the phone and I had to explain everything all over again. And even though my husband took off work today, they had to reschedule us to another day. Admistrative staff doesn't know the first thing about running this office and will not own up to their mistakes, nor do they keep track of their actions pertaining to scheduling their patients! So, when a mistake like that happens, there is no proof and you end up sounding insane and the staff pretty much tells you that., like Carlos, who works there suggested over the phone! I hate that there are not a lot of Pediatric Ophtalmologists on the Island with good reputations and we end up having to go to an office like that, with good Doctors, but incompetent and insulting administrative staff. If there is a mix up with the schedule, patient/guardian made it all up, because the staff will not own up to their mishaps . Absolutely disappointed and frustrated with the way they handled this situation.

Great first appointment. Dr. DeRespinis immediately detected the issue with my son when 2 other doctors did not see anything wrong. Will definitely be back.
