Nov 14, 2024 · Jennifer LlambelisDO NOT GO HERE FOR GLASSES. It cost me $464 dollars after insurance just to get a new pair of LENSES - I just asked them to replace the lenses in my existing glasses. The glasses are OK, but incredibly overpriced. I went down the street to another eye doctor and they charged me less for the lenses WITHOUT insurance. I called Provision for an explanation about the price, and they said it was because I ordered progressive lenses, but I’ve ordered progressive lenses for much cheaper for years, including on my same insurance. It’s incredibly unclear what makes these lenses so expensive, and I never got an adequate answer. What’s worse, the customer experience is terrible. I am trying to talk to an employee for an explanation about my bill and she’s playing music on her laptop in the background, all the while a smoke alarm is beeping from low battery. It smells weird in there. None of the employees know anything - you ask them a question and they just “message the doctor” who gives some convoluted answer the employee can’t explain.

I was a previous customer, so assumed they would just replace it as a courtesy because I was a customer, as every single other eyeglasses place has done before. But no. They charged me $10 for a tiny screw and 3 minutes of work. Ok, whatever. But in the ensuing weeks I discovered they gave me the wrong size screw. It kept falling out. We bought a repair kit thinking the threads had been stripped. Every few days, the screw gets loose or falls out. Turns out the glasses are fine; they charged me $10 for the wrong size screw. So scammy!!!

However, even I sent all my information 3 days before visit still I was asked to pay more as copay as this provider requires more scans as a part of routine checkup. I did all things last year inclusive at a location in New York City. Even if they charge for anything else they must call ahead of time. There is no connection between customer care on helpline and person in clinic and will make your life harder by asking and arguing with you. Better don't waste your time going there!
Oct 27, 2024 · Vijay KumarOver priced, surprised me with virtual doctor instead of real doctor, smelled like weed (Cynthia the receptionist confirmed her smoking habit while telling me about her gastric bypass), and held my perscription hostage while insisting I attend an unnecessary second appointment. Staff is unprofessional and argumentative, beside Emily who made scheduling easy. Illegally, explicitly bribes patients for good reviews with products (offer for free lens cleaner in exchange for five stars; posted on wall) and discounts (attached offer to receipts).
