Visionworks Doctors of Optometry

I am a first time customer to Visionworks as I couldn't get an appointment at my usual eye care provider and needed a replacement pair of glasses quickly. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and seamless it was to make an appointment for a visit. I walked in and was immediately greeted by someone despite the fact that they were pretty busy. I was seen by the doctor promptly and the exam was quick. When I spoke with the doctor I did explain a symptom I was feeling and they explained what may have caused it as well as what to do to prevent it. I truly appreciated it! When it was time to find some new glasses all associates were busy assisting other people but I didn't mind because it usually takes me a while to pick something out. The manager (I think his name was James or Jim) came up to me immediately to ask me if I had any questions or needed help. When I was ready Selene and James helped me with the purchase and let me know that they would call me when the glasses were ready. I honestly was so impressed with how attentive and helpful everyone was. I came in not knowing what to expect and left with my expectations surpassed so much so that I'm just going to make this my permanent go to place. Thank you to the entire team!

A Complete Nightmare – Avoid Visionworks at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment for my son, causing him to miss school, only to be met with absolute incompetence and unprofessionalism from Visionworks. The appointment confirmation they sent listed 120 Center St., so naturally, that’s where I went. Upon arrival, I couldn’t find the location, so I called for clarification. James, the employee who answered, told me the correct address was actually 120 Route 22—completely different from what I had received. I told him I was only seven minutes away and rushed over. Instead of helping, James placed me on hold for so long that I actually arrived at the correct location before even being acknowledged again. When I finally got through, he had transferred me to another woman without telling me anything or providing any updates to me or her. This woman was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Because of THEIR mistake in providing the wrong address, I was seven minutes late, and yet they refused to see my son. No apology, no attempt to accommodate, just pure indifference. The way we were treated was disgusting like we didn’t matter. I have no doubt that if we had “better” insurance instead of Medicaid, we would have been treated with respect instead of being disregarded like trash. This location has no regard for their own errors and zero compassion for their patients. If you value your time and dignity, stay far away from Visionworks.

Visionworks of Union did a great job in helping me order my glasses. She helped me pick out frames from my chosen few that I gathered. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I like this location better than the Clark store. Definitely a difference in the customer service. I'll definitely be returning to the Union location for my future needs. Thank you!!

I was looking around for a great optometrist that was open on Saturday. I came across Vision Works I was very hesitant because of the location ,thinking they would be over crowded. But after my visit I can honestly say Great Service, little to No wait!! Very understanding & Accommodating .

I've been going to you guys for years and never disappoint! It's always in and out. Everyone is friendly and the doctor does an amazing job at explaining everything.
