It isn’t often that I face a wall of toxicity so extreme that I find myself shaking with anger in someplace as innocuous as an eye glass store. The drama! The villains! The sad comedy of it all which seems better suited to daytime TV. At first I thought it was just poor executive functioning skills on the part of bored 20 something girls who would rather be doing anything other than answering the questions posed by an older woman, especially if she was asking unpleasant questions they didn’t want to be bothered to answer. Could it be possible that I fell into some strange black hole where simple communication didn’t exist? But one would think that having lenses put into a pair of glasses wouldn’t involve a masters in communication. I suppose I’m wrong about that. What made the whole ridiculous situation so maddening was that they stared at me with their blank faces as if they were looking upon a mad woman who was making a fuss over nothing, when in fact they created a tangle of false information so ludicrous I will not repeat it here for fear of boring you and probably making you feel as confused as I am. In the end, I discovered the unhelpful, unfriendly and downright nasty behavior of the 20 somethings was a product of the owner’s personality; condescending, machismo, intolerant self-importance hung around him like a noxious cloud. I ended a, maybe five year customer, relationship with this eye store after thousands of dollars spent and this owner could not have cared less. He spewed vitriolic blame and never once apologized. I will post again once I find an eye store I can recommend.

Apr 13, 2024 · Cynthia SalettI went to Dr. Arthur's office after being mistreated for pink eye, because of the mistreatment and wrong medication prescribed my eye pink eye became viral, extremely painful, spread to my other eye as well, and it was so puffy I could barely open my eyes. Because of how severe both of my eyes got, Dr. Arthur needed to see me everyday for almost 2 weeks wanting to be on top of it in case for some reason the new medication didn't work. He was extremely caring, personable, compassionate, and friendly during this scary time. I will never take healthy eyes/eye sight for granted! He also explained everything to me in depth, and took his time with me so I understood what was happening to me health-wise. He made me a priority because of the severity of my case, and I never had to wait when I went to his office. He took great care of me, and genuinely cared about my well being. He is amazing, and I highly recommend him!
Dec 11, 2020 · Anita SinghDr. Bukhatetsky is awesome! Great bedside manner, efficient eye exam, and best of all he was able to fix a wonky prescription from a previous optometrist who had prescribed me stronger lenses than required. Dr. Bukhatetsky's philosophy is to avoid overprescribing. I just got my new glasses today and his prescription for me is perfect.
Nov 03, 2018 · Lily GellerDr. Arthur has been my eye doctor for a while now. I HIGHLY recommend. Super efficient and answers any questions you may have. I just got fitted for contacts after years of being nervous and avoiding it. One staff member helped me overcome my fear! Super helpful place! Thanks Dr. Arthur & Staff!
