Park Slope Optical

Wanted to share a quick thanks to the team at Park Slope Optical. I popped in for some quick adjustments and they were helpful, friendly, and professional! I recently got a new pair of glasses from another optometrist, however they haven’t been sitting properly on my face. I tried a few adjustments with them but it never worked out. I then brought them in to Park Slope Optical to see if they could take a look and make some adjustments. They took the time to examine the glasses, how they were sitting as I wore them, and went back and forth making adjustments that ultimately worked great! I’m impressed by the level of service and will be back for future pairs. They looked to have a good selection of designer brands, and they mentioned they’re also happy to do just lenses if you already have frames

Isma and Ali were kind, professional, and provided excellent advice and customer service. Isma was really great with adapting to my style preferences and making unique suggestions, and Ali was great at trying to proactively suggest ways to save money through different insurance and payment strategies. They went above and beyond and made me feel like a valued member.

They fixed my frames that had gotten bent and even adjusted them so they fit my face better than before. It only took a few minutes. They were extremely kind and offered helpful advice for glasses care.

Highly recommend. Ali & team are kind, professional, and will not incessantly upsell you on eyeglass extras. My only qualm is that it took a good 2 weeks to get my glasses—after I was told they could do a rush job and get them sooner. Will use them for all my future eyeglass needs!

Completely disappointed, I tried my luck here and will never do it again. I spent hundreds on my glasses for them to break not even a few months later. I went in two separate times to fix them but stopped even trying afterwards since the lenses kept popping out and frame itself was bent out of shape and they just couldn’t fix them properly. They were doing what I would do, pop them back in and tighten the sides. I call in to check about a replacement since I haven’t been with these glasses in months, just to be told if I want to replace them I’d have to dish out another few hundred because they won’t cover a replacement and any warranty on it (which I was unaware of ) had expired. And the prescription expired as well. It’s been 1 year. When I went in to fix the lenses and frame previously, why did this warranty never come up by anyone If my glasses could have been replaced then? I was billed for extra things I had no idea about in the first place, even though I asked multiple times in person what exactly am I paying for. The receipt I was sent just had my total amount paid, there wasn’t a breakdown so I went off the trust of the person who claimed I paid for the eye exam and glasses. Overall just extremely disappointed with how little they attempted to help fix and/or replace the glasses after spending so much money on them, they couldn’t care less about helping people see, just want more money out of them.
