Central Optical

Terrible service! This optician was very nasty! She was completely disgusting during the exam! I have worn glasses since I was seven. I have never had an optician shove their fingers in my eye so roughly and was trying to hurt my eyes. She then got upset that I asked her to be a little gentle! And after all of the nasty treatment, she played victim! She ended the exam because she said she wants to poke me in my eyes and that’s just how she does things! Never again!!!

This place is terrible the doctor doesn’t have patience with kids. I took my 4 year daughter there to get her eyes checked and the doctor didn’t wanna have patience to do it because she didn’t wanna sit still and she recommended to give her a glasses without even checking my daughter’s eyes. Also they wanted me to pay $400 for a little glasses, I asked the lady why it so expensive she said because the insurance doesn’t pay for the lenses like what? I never heard that before I know that the insurance pay for the lenses and some glasses if you want a different frame you gotta pay for it. I asked the lady to give me the prescription I’ll go to a different place to get the glasses she told me I’m gonna receive it on my email but I never got it. This place is terrible, wouldn’t recommend it at all!!

I was given the suggestion of what designers frames to choose from Jimmy Choo new item and when the frame and lenses was added it came to $1800.00 The most I ever paid and I was told don’t worry apply for Care Credit.. the credit limit was $2,000.00 and making the purchase left a $200.00 balance I was told if I paid it off in a year no interest.. Well the eyewear didn’t live up to the name it was rusted over my ears. I ask for refund to get another frame.. I was not given any satisfaction and put in a dispute and told not to make any payment until I get notified of the result I was not in formed that this optical store refuse to say I was sold defective frames. I will now report them to BBB The sales lady said I was probably allergic and put clear nail polish.. this was ridiculous answer.. Beware !! Do not be pressured to spend more than your comfortable.. No longer a patient!!!

It was a pleasure visiting Central Optical located at 120-73 Flatlands Avenue. Tennille has such a wonderful personality. She has great customer service skills. She can literally sell ice to the Eskimos. 😆 Dr. Katerina Ginberg was very professional. I am impressed.
