A couple days ago I had an appointment at dr Gurlands office and I had a technician named Stephanie she was very knowledgeable and professional if I come back I wanna work with her!!!.The staff was good too but Stephanie was extraordinary!!!she went the extra mile I recommend.

It's the optometrists job to do the eye examination not whatever assistant do it and then the optometrist just signs off on it and check your eyes at the end w light. My daughter's eye exam and prescription, gave me no assurance that it was correct cuz the optometrist assistant just says, no vision is 100% ...as long as she can see...really?!?!? Not coming here anymore! So I used my secondary vision insurance and had her eyes reexamine today at visionworks. What a difference in the prescription and the optometrist there was very thorough.

Had to make 3 different appointments just to see the guy either because the front desk gave me the wrong date, the doctor wasn't in day and because I was 10 minutes late for the appointment even though they make you wait an half an hour just to see the doctor. Like its ok to waste us the patients time but not the doctor who we are paying to see. When I finally got my eye exam the equipment was not clean. Refused to even go near it until they cleaned it in front of me. Finally saw the doctor and he only spent about 30 seconds with me. His only replies were you need glasses go next door to specs. I mean come on at the very least explain to me what my vision is if it is not 20/20 and what seems to be wrong with my eye is it lazy, or some other kind of condition besides age. All the trouble I went through to make an appointment on different dates and the doctor and staff could not be bothered to at least be a little bit more courteous with their patents. Should have read the other reviews before going to this location. The main reason I came here was because it was close to where I live. Next time going somewhere else were you actually get some respect and not waste your time.

I just had my first eye exam at this office with Dr Zazzali. I was AMAZED by the in-depth exam I received! Never have I been so thoroughly examined. Dr Zazzali is meticulous, patient and warm. And all of the staff are professional and kind. Each machine was wiped before I came in contact with them. And how convenient that I could go next door to SPECS and get my glasses dine, which I’m very pleased with. I went here in Nov. 2021. Maybe some of the negative reviews are old ones?

I saw Dr. Gurland’s colleague who was very kind. But this office is the WORST. Came back for a follow up appointment after having to go initially for an emergency visit. After waiting forty-five minutes, I was told the wait would be at least 1-1.5 hours MORE because “our boss tells us to overbook.” They also charge a fee to pay with a credit card and for a mask if you don’t have one. The entire experience felt like what you’d expect in a third world country. Honestly take the train to the city. This place is a disaster.
