I have been going to Wayne Eye Care for over 5 years! I love Dr. Seyam. He is very kind and patient. He is very thorough and listens to all my concerns. The office staff is wonderful as well! Sarah is very helpful and always answers all of my questions! I like this small type eye exam office much better than the larger, one hour type places! I get extra attention and the selection of contacts and eye glasses is great! Highly recommend!

Dear Wayne Eye Care Management, I am very disappointed with the level of customer service I received at your office. I want to bring several concerns to your attention regarding my recent experience. 1. Unprofessional Front Desk Service The front desk staff, particularly Sara and a new employee, were not helpful. The new staff member, despite not being authorized to assist, engaged in unnecessary arguments over the phone. 2. Lack of Communication on Pricing and Brands The doctor who owns this practice seems to be a nice man, but the doctor covering Saturdays needs to clearly communicate brand options and pricing before prescribing expensive products. Attempting to prescribe $1,000 contacts without prior discussion is unacceptable, especially when my daughter didn’t even find them comfortable. 3. Misleading Rebate and Pricing Practices Instead of addressing my concerns, Sara handed me a $200 mail-in rebate form and told me I could “get my money back” if I filled it out correctly. This is not how a business should operate. Additionally, when I asked for my daughter’s prescription, she oddly suggested I inform her if I found a better price elsewhere. The entire experience felt very shady, as no one provided a clear pricing breakdown. 4. Mishandling of Insurance Benefits I attempted to use my VSP insurance, which works through Eyeconic.com. However, Sara applied my daughter’s benefits to the expensive contacts I had already declined. When I refused the overpriced contacts, she told me I would need to return multiple times until we found the right pair—something I’ve never experienced in over 20 years of wearing contacts. 5. Failure to Provide Alternatives or Inventory Despite coming in for a contact lens trial and training (which cost $195 and wasn’t covered by insurance), my daughter left with nothing because they didn’t have her prescription in stock. They also made no effort to suggest alternative brands. 6. Excessive and Unexpected Costs I was shocked when I was told to pay $853, with only $130 covered by insurance. This level of pricing without prior discussion is completely unacceptable. 7. Past Issues with Orders Two years ago, Sara forgot to order my son’s contacts. A month passed before I realized, and she eventually shipped them through 1-800 Contacts—as if I couldn’t have done that myself. The main doctor is rarely around, leaving the staff to operate without proper oversight. They do not seem to care about customer satisfaction or transparency. Dr. Ramy and his staff are wonderful. Most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had by an optometrist, with thorough explanations and fair pricing. Office and equipment seem very new and updated. Highly recommend!

This office is amazing!! They are super professional. It is obvious that Dr Ramy loves what he does and takes time explaining what he sees with pictures and a thorough exam. Sarah runs the office and works so hard to get you the proper glasses that fit your needs, style and budget. I've already told friends about this experience and will definitely return.

1st time ever getting an eye exam. The office staff was friendly and informative. They explained the exam pricing based on my insurance before anything was done. Dr. Seyam was friendly and made sure I understood every image he was examining. Eliana was friendly, provided upfront pricing based on my insurance, and laid out several options for my first pair of frames without any pressure whatsoever. Great experience from start to finish.
