At first I was elated that the doctor was able to see me on short notice, however it soon became apparent why. My appointment was on a Tuesday at 2 pm and I was sent on my way and told my prescription was sent in. The next morning when my pharmacy had not received the script, I called the office. They assured me they would rectify the issue. The next morning still no script. The Following day, no script. By Friday morning I called for the fourth time and still had not received my script. I offered to go to the office for a physical prescription and was told this issue would be fixed and they would call me back. I called them three hours later. I was told it was a typo. You guessed it. Never fixed. I then was told the doctor was out of the office for the day. No prescription! The pharmacy tried calling the office on my behalf and I was left with out my script for six full days. The doctors office and staff is an embarrassment. I wasted my time and was forced to seek another doctors help because they could not be tasked with calling in a prescription or letting me pick it up.

I read all the bad reviews and I was hesitant to have my surgery performed by Dr Lauer however my neurologist ophthalmologist recommended him so I trusted her and I am glad I did. I have Horner’s syndrome and he was honest explaining it is a difficult operation to correct my ptosis on my left eye lid as he needs to carefully tighten the muscle that controls the eyelid function but he will do his best to correct it and he did. I can happily say he did a wonderful job and now I can see from my left eye. His staff was polite and worked hard to make sure my insurance covered the operation and they did.

I was diagnosed with graves eyes diseases and he told me to stop using the glaucoma drops and come back in 3 months. I stopped using the drops for 15 days and nothing improved. I had to go to another specialist. I don't recommend him.

I had 2 surgeries which failed to correct my problem. Dr. Lauer said he would not do a third surgery, so I went to another doctor to get another opinion. When I requested my surgical records from Dr. Lauer, his assistant told me he would have the Doctor print out the records and emailed to me. This went on with several calls to the assistant over 3 weeks and the assistant finally told me I could request the records from the hospital. So I wasted 3 weeks trying to get the records from Dr. Lauer without success.

Not good , from a local simple procedure to a general operation that I never agreed to , I ran out of the preop room , he never spoke to me about the mistake or misunderstanding or apologized . He put me thru hell wish I had read other patients reviews ,
